No one is safe from cheaters now..

Is this just isolated incidents or getting worse? Genuinely want to know.

playing in diamond lobbies is just so frustration that i just gave up, most of them arent even hiding it

After 4,000 hours of Apex, I do not think I have encountered more cheaters per Diamond+ lobby than these last couple Ranked splits.

Cheating is the meta nowadays

i fully stopped playing the game for about a year and half now due to two main reasons 1) the match making is god awful, im a high gold/low plat player with a kd of 1.2 and every lobby i was put in was with diamonds,masters and preds. 2) the cheaters. i would say 1 in every 5 games i would run into someone who just had god tier aim or who just knew where i was. im talking full prefire around the corner i tried take or every time i peaked to check if they were moving closer. i have played this game since season 2. i have over 2000 hours, i love the game. its a great game with good movement and fun fights. but i just can't play it anymore, it just made me mad beyond anything else. now i dont mind losing, its a BR. the odds of you winning a game are always low. when i end season season 2 i had 100 wins total for my account, when season 3 came around i end with the highest amount of wins i ever got in a season which was around 300. ill get back to why the amount of wins is important if you keep reading. as every new season came i played and enjoyed, all the way up til season 7 when imo the hacking got really bad. i didnt even finish the battle pass, thats how bad it gotten. now from season 3 to 7 there was always hackers but most of them were rage hacks, you know spinning around, insta 180s, not even hiding it at all. but started in season 7 came the soft cheaters, the wall hackers and the soft aim locks. you know the stuff thats harder to catch and it just kept getting worse and worse. with every passing season i would come back and do the battle pass, play the events but it just became harder and harder each season with the amount of hackers, i would hope each event/season would bring a ban wave. it would get better in some seasons and in others it felt like nothing was done. now with soft cheats going hay wire and match making being at the all time worse. it became impossible to win, my win rate went to shit. now like i said before i dont care if i win or lose. im just playing the game for gun play and the movement, thats how i have fun. now you can say my SBMM wasnt right in season 2 or 3 and thats how i got all those wins and now im being placed in a skill bracket meant for me but heres where im gonna tell you my wins per season... it went from on avg of 100/150 wins a season down to 50 wins a season if im lucky. most of my seasoned ended with 25 wins or around that. now i was playing the same amount as i was before, i tried playing the meta legends, using the meta guns. i did the aim training and the in depth legends guilds and my wins never went back to anything above 50 a season. nothing worked and i know i said i didnt care about winning the game and thats true but what i do care about is winning gun fights. what made the game fun for me was the gun play, the movement, just everything but winning the match itself. but when it got to the point where im being one magged by every single person i run into or someone has a bunny hop script going and they are quite impossible to hit. i just had enough. i said screw this game and i hard quit. i still have friends who play the game daily and say nothing has changed, the soft hackers still run the show, the rage hackers arent getting banned fast enough and the match making is still awful. now if you read all of this, thank you. i really mean it, thank you for taking your time to read all of what i had to say, it means alot that you are trying to give a voice to the player base.

4k hours and I’ve finally actually quit stuck d3/d4 dying every game against cheating preds or cheaters boosting 3x animated banner preds who have been doing this forever apparently. I’m just sick of it. I have an easier time fighting pros than I do some random d1 default skin lifeline who insta 1 clips me. Unbelievable how bad things have gotten and it’s really sad

this game definitely has thousands upon thousands of cheaters.. and there's 750 pred slots.

Recently I've been seeing cheaters even in mixtape. lvl 50 accounts who just beam you with the havoc across the map, and always seem to know where you are. Also, tones of Gibraltars bots.

I’ve stopped playing about 2 weeks ago. It’s not just blatant cheaters but wall hacks and CronusZen

I got DC'd from a ranked game yesterday, kicked me to the press " " to enter screen, told me there was an error and I couldn't rejoin the match in progress with my friends. It gave me -60 rp for the round, plus another -60 for forfeiting early, even though it was a server error. Had to wait another 10 minutes as a penalty on top of that.

Videogames used to be skills vs. skill now. it's just skills vs. cheats.

Cheaters are the reason why my friends and I stopped playing this game. It just sucks the fun out of it and isn't worth investing our time into. Same goes for other popular FPS games. I am now looking into other genres of games entirely because of this. Sad that I can't play my favorite games anymore.

I play solos and it's full of cheaters

For lack of better words, the games fucked....... Cheaters are running rampant, matchmaking is bat shit awful, servers are barely functioning, public matches are full of cheaters and sweats. As someone that's been here since day 1, I give apex another 16-18 months unless they actually fkn do something.

It's hard for me to tell when ppl are aimbotting or just OP, but I've definitely seen many people with wall hacks, cause I will see so many ppl running straight towards me when I wasnt making any sound and there's no way they could see me

It’s not even just diamond+, I’m plat 3 trying to help my homies to plat and we ran into cheaters 3 games in a row, one of which playing with a streamer.

Lots of strange killcams in solos and mixtape, perfect preaim moments and such. Like tracking my wall bounce pre-emptively type strange. Maybe they're just built different but who knows. Excited for the aim theory video, mechanics are only getting me so far

I'm too sad to comment in depth on this. sucks when something you love dies because of corporate greed.
