Hollow and I were gaming and doing a podcast style conversation on the theory behind good aim. I am confident every single one of you can improve. Lots can be overwhelming. Take a moment, invest time, but also think what works best for you. I hope this video is helpful!

Love the video can’t wait to see more of your content hollow.
  • I love this video so much it might be my favorite one I’ve watched since trying to get better at gaming. I love that hollow says this also applies to really everything in life because after finding out about the aim community and improvement I try to take this into real world life it’s legit helped my mental big time in my own way.
  • This is applicable to far more than just aim, any concept like movement, positioning, even legend selection follows the same criteria as they use to talk abt aim. Very good video

When he started talking about how he used to focus on all the perspectives all I heard was "apex is my life"

i like how the thumbnail is MnK because controller players will never need any guides on how to aim :face-orange-biting-nails::face-orange-biting-nails::face-orange-biting-nails::face-orange-biting-nails::face-orange-biting-nails::face-fuchsia-tongue-out::face-fuchsia-tongue-out::face-fuchsia-tongue-out::face-red-heart-shape::face-purple-crying::face-purple-crying::face-red-droopy-eyes:

After 3.5K hrs on MnK made the swap to controller 1.5months ago, one thing I enjoy with controller is there’s no crazy warmup needed. Or I don’t need to play 1-2 hrs to actually feel my aim to be on point. Also long 10+hr sessions just easier with controller just cuz the consistency with close range fights.

Really like the idea of looking at it from more of a philosophy/mindset perspective. Enjoyed the podcast style video as well.

Most important take away : copy hollow setting, buy hollow peripherals, ask for his desk height, sitting angle, monitor distance. And most importantly, type !sens in his chat, he loves that (ignore the description, settings there are misleading and outdated).

I think this was recorded before the latest patch because 4000 Hz polling is now fixed

Hmm I'm about halfway through the video but one thing I'm hearing is an excessive focus on the skill component of aiming (which makes sense, its the thing we can change the most).. but I think there is an (small) argument for tools being important too - objectively there must be a mouse sense that an individual is better with due to an individual's physiological differences. Maybe there are injuries that mean you can't use your wrist like you can use your elbow, so you have to use a slower sense, and it can take time to dial that in.. and that small piece of truth might be the root of people getting stuck on the tool portion of good aim instead of focusing on the skill portion they can improve more on. Just my thought, maybe you'll cover this further in. Edit: covered about 5 minutes later

Getting a mouse that's the right size for me definitely gave the biggest boost in aim. I can get the same scores in kovaak's with the superlight and smaller mice, but in game the difference is massive how I play.
