The BEST SALMON RUN MODE in Splatoon 3!

I’m aware fog isn’t new, sorry about that mistake! Really just proves my rating if anything 😂

I don't necessarily agree that night waves should be challenging. I think the focus on making the waves more unique is what makes them more enjoyable. The more unique a wave is the better! The Challenge not so much a thing I care for specifically. Salmon Run is popular because it's fun/unique not just because it's challenging!

Glowflies is the hardest mode to rank IMO. If your team knows what they're doing it's a pretty fun challenge, but it's basically unwinnable at lower ranks because your teammates usually suck

Fog is not new, it was also in 2. Which I think just further justifies it's placement. Like imagine being so benal you are completely forgotten!

So fog isn't just the same with Goldies, Unlike the day mode where the Bosses spawn at one of 3 spawn area's at any given time, in fog, the bosses spawn at all spots at the same time

As an eggecutive, my opinion would probably be flipped from the tier list spare per say mothership and grillers, at that difficulty when a night wave comes it can be a breath of fresh air to have something like mudmouths or tornado, or goldie seeking, and Grillers is pretty fun especially because of the difficulty, but glowflies is probably the most annoying one because of just how easy it is to lose from one misstep, and even then it expects an extremely high quota while you're practically being swarmed to death by chum, when you're getting glowflies on round one you're practically fighting to get less of a pay cut, not to win.

Goldie hunting isn't entirely rng actually! The gushers will be higher the closer to the Goldie it is. I recently found out about it and feels sooo good to have a target aquired moment, "This way!" your randoms before opening it, and gun 'em down

Nice to see a smaller channel get recommended to me, keep up the good work. Hopefully with all the Splatoon craze the algorithm has chosen you! I do wish though there was more Night modes, I love their uniqueness and ability to shake up the usual 9 to 5 work of Grizzco.

Fog waves have another small nuanced difference. The lesser salmonids spawn in at all points consistently instead of spawning in waves where the boss salmonids spawn

I feel like when your rank gets high enough in Salmon Run that the objective switches from "meeting quota and surviving the wave" to "getting as many golden eggs as physically possible" every single night mode becomes a lot more fun. A whole new element of challenge is added when everyone on your team understands that the goal is to overachieve the score as high as possible. i've had some of the most tense waves of this game just trying to get like 50-60 eggs on mudmouths. Playing like that, i probably wouldn't rank a single mode below S

Fog has a constant spawn of salmonids I believe, and I think there is also more bosses than a normal. Surprisingly the lack of vision can make it really hard compared to normal waves, as you can’t see what’s coming, and as such, shoreline bosses become even more brutal as when you usually won’t see them spawn until they attack. It however can be really good for fishing with the Goldies though, as luring them to the basket can yield 1, 5, or even 10 golden eggs. Honestly, this mode can be harder than glowflies or grillers if your team doesn’t communicate or if there’s a high amount of shoreline bosses
