Meet Ocean, a kitten rescued from a water tank at the Northern Jakarta harbor. Alone and vulnerable, his cries echoed through the water tank. Till his cries for help caught the attention of a nearby passerby, right at the moment he was scooped up by a kind-hearted rescuer as she was moved by his plight, Ocean quieted down immediately, finally sensing safety for the first time. Why he was left there or how he managed to find a way inside the water tank remains a mystery, with no mother in sight, leaving the kitten helpless and vulnerable. Thankfully, he was healthy and free of any diseases or disabilities.
Before heading home, the rescuer and a man stopped for dinner at a nearby restaurant. Ocean was given some raw food, which he eagerly devoured as if he hadn’t eaten anything for a while until he was rescued out of the water tank. Once the dinner was finished, the trio finally came back home and this is where Ocean will be staying, Ocean’s personality began to shine. Playful and curious, he quickly adapted to his new environment.
As days passed by, Ocean thrived under the loving care of his foster family and grew stronger thanks to their care. The owners now made a decision to invite a vet to administer vaccines, ensuring his continued good health. With the vaccines complete, Ocean’s future looked bright. He bonded well with another cat in the household, his energetic nature a perfect complement.
