She is impossible not to admire and love. Obviously the house is lovely, well thought out and practical (she's lived in it for a decade!) But she is also this very interesting lesson in a life well lived. She's done a lot, seen a lot, embraces who she is and appreciates the wonders of nature and joy of a small space to make and call one's own.

so much of Barbara’s tiny house and tiny life very much interest me - though - I am in a four season location rather than a desert - she is a true gardener with optimism to the max - planting a tree and marking out her patio where it will receive shade - may she be blessed to enjoy her garden as it develops - I would have an awing or umbrella with outdoor furniture so I could enjoy my outdoor space while my garden grew - thank you for sharing your story (esp the length of time planning and saving) - I think many of those with untold tiny stories are more like Barbara then your energetic tiny home owners with let’s get going attitude and somehow have tens of thousands of dollars to make their tiny homes happen asap - “Stella” is truly the first tiny home that with minimal changes I could live in - gives this single young senior with mobility issues (no ladders / lofts at all) hope for tiny living - and I too intend to live / die in place 🇨🇦🙏
