These “reactions” to preseason matches need to be taken with a huge grain of salt. Between all the academy players, fringe squad players, massive number of substitutions, preseason fitness levels, poor pitches, etc there really is not much of a reason to put much weight into these results. The real matches start in 3 weeks. Judge and evaluate then.

I feel like Chelsea are still hurt from the Kepa deal. They spent all that money thinking they were getting one of the best young GKs yet it turned out to be a horrible deal so now they’re spending cheap on them with people like Mendy, Sanchez, Petrovic, and now Jorgensen to see if any of them will hit and turn into a world class keeper but I still think they should get Diogo Costa. He looks like he fits a Chelsea kit and I can see him being on of the best itw but he needs a better platform playing for a big team. These cheap keepers they keep buying are temporary fixes but every top team needs a top level keeper so it isn’t a position they should neglect
