This is so very true! The real power comes from knowing who you ARE, and what you CAN do. Once you have that down firmly, achievement feels a lot more secure. I really loved this video. It was a great reminder that we need to be ourselves, and work at our own expectations.

I recognise so much of what say in my self. The checking of doors having to go back and check them again in fact I've broken doors doing it. My brain is always going all the time it's like a tape recorder on fast forward as you say it's exhausting. I've had this since I was a teenager or maybe even before that and I'm now 70. So it was interesting to see your video and to finally recognise some of the things you were talking about I just want you to know your videos do help I know now I'm not the only one that feels like this. So keep up the good work with your videos I always look forward to seeing your videos pop up
  • It has been pretty difficult, especially this past year, at work. It has been difficult for me to work with other people lately, but I just really have to put my mind to it to make it work. Sure, there are always better days than others. I think that the worst part, at least for me, is that I have to be private about this condition and deal with it. Trying to explain to someone who does not have sensitive issues will not understand unless they themselves experience the same condition.  I spent 2/3rds of my working career working independently and it works very well for me. Noise is another issue as well. I have anxiety just trying to prepare for and get to work in the morning. Thankfully, I will be retiring from the workforce in October after a 51 year working career. It will be nice to have a life on my own terms!  Keep working on your videos, Verena. It is interesting to hear how you deal with this on a daily basis.

Thank you! I can definitely relate. Instead of ear plugs have you tried noise cancelling ear buds so you can listen to soothing music also?

In this video you went much deeper inside yourself, fully describing yourself. I am also like you, I can't stand the pressure from others especially during work. And especially you need calm and tranquility in your daily life. 💮🤍
