“A meal for us lasts only a few minutes, but that meal has cost the animal their entire life.” That says it all.
  • @DuncanHarbison
I'm upset that the opportunity was there to call this an Ed Talk and nobody has taken it.

It’s been almost 7 months since I watched this video, and I’ve completely adapted to a vegan lifestyle. The only genuinely difficult part is that lack of understanding of people around me, but hey that’s not in my control. Thanks Ed.
  • I'm already vegan but I come here every now and then to learn how to articulate and respond to various arguments thrown at me. Ed is a terrific speaker!
  • I’m not a vegan but this talk has really helped me to understand why I need to stop using animal products and eliminate them from my diet. Thank you Ed.

Circle of Life!” 11) 12:10 “what will we do with the animals?” 12) 13:13 “Mass production of vegetables=animals still die” Like my comment so more can see so more vegans can debunk the justification of killing animals! THANK YOU ED!

I've always lived by this philosophy: "if there is no victim, then it's not a crime", and somehow overlooked the fact that the animals i eat are also beings and are my victims. I want to try veganism a shot. Thanks Ed
  • It's soooo nice to hear him speak so fluently and calmly, without anyone interrupting him or arguing in circles like it's usually the case with the street debates

I’ve been vegetarian since 2010 and vegan since 2014, I never was able to put into words why I chose to do what I did, but calm, intelligent conversations like this make it so much easier to explain 🙏
  • @Jeremy
This is really well constructed and presented. It would be nice to see discussions like this in the schooling system.
  • @JoeSims1776
This guy's street interviews turned me vegan ~2 years ago and haven't looked back. Ed is possibly the best and most effective animal activist around today
  • @bleubird76
When I became vegetarian at 11 the meat eaters in my life were aggressively rude, hostile and verbally abusive. People tried to hide meat in my food. I find it odd that meat eaters claim Vegans and Vegetarians are intolerant when I have never pressured or forced anyone to eat anything vegan or vegetarian.
  • @BilltheBass88
My biggest regret in life is not going vegan sooner, thanks Ed for influencing my decision to go Vegan!
  • @santii9305
It took me exactly 10 years from the moment I said "I want to become vegan" to actually becoming a vegan. I feel extremely proud of myself for achieving this.
  • @saramollame4965
i have never seen such a positive comment section of a vegan video before. he covered all the bases with great information and reasoning
  • @raynelaw5922
Thank you for articulating everything I have ever wanted to say in arguments with non-vegans
  • @fomorians
Ed speaks the way every vegan actually wished they sounded like - calm, empathetic and logical. I have no idea how he does it, but I think the clue is in the intro - he can step back into the shoes of the meat lover he used to be, but with hope and forgiveness instead of judgement. Truly an incredible person.
