Together with @hkoutdooradventures and @hkoutsider teams, we scrambled through this stunning stream all the way up to Hong Kong's famous Victoria Peak. You should have seen the faces of all the tourists when we came up from under the bridge, wet and happy!
Unfortunately my GoPro battery didn't survive long enough to film our arrival, so I count on your imagination!

It took us three hours from the Pok Fu Lam Road to reach Lugard Road. We crossed Hong Kong trail sections twice on our way, so for those who want to make it shorter, you can. Just don't go alone!

For this kind of hike I took a bottle of water, a waterproof bag with clothes, shoes to change, waterproof phone case, knee pads, and gloves. I wore a long sleeve top with long pants and long socks - to prevent minor abrasions. Shoes with good grip are super important!
It's a very fun and beautiful adventure, but if you're not careful, it can potentially be very dangerous. Rocks can be super slippery, even for the best shoes in the world. And if you don't know the basics of scrambling - don't go.

I recommend to join the team with experienced supervisor.
The stream was quite heavy as we are currently experiencing lot's of heavy rain.
The stream will of course be less intense during the dry seasons.

Have fun, explore magnificent Hong Kong, and stay safe!

Sincerely, Nataliya
