Ephesus, Türkiye - During my latest food trip to Turkey, I really wanted to visit the ancient city of Ephesus. Finally it came down to one day, and I still had no plans. We had a full day in Izmir before catching an evening flight to Gaziantep. So I decided to rent a car for the day, we’d visit Ephesus (about 1.5 hours drive from Izmir), and return the car to the Izmir Airport for our evening flight. Worked perfectly!
Askerin Yeri Piknik Restaurant (maps.app.goo.gl/d7FNL3Cv7DdqqBw9A) - But first, before we entered the ancient city of Ephesus, we stopped for a quick lunch. This restaurant was amazing, located just outside the gates of Ephesus. Total price - 1,000 TRY ($30.99) for everything
Ephesus Ancient City: Ticket - €52 per person - It was amazing to visit Ephesus, and ancient city in Turkey, truly surreal. After we visited Ephesus we continued on to visit the Virgin Mary’s house.

Hi Mark, I really love your "second" channel and I actually prefer it to your main channel (with exceptions - one being the recent wonderful videos from Syria). The places you visit are less "mainstream" and more to my taste, and it also feels so much more private. As always, great work ! And Micah is growing up so fast. I am surprised that he doesnt have to go to school in Bangkok ??
