"We just looked at each other and said, that wasn't good football huh? We gotta play better." 😂💀

It's funny how this is different by level of football. In high school, we used to change plays, alignments, blocking schemes, etc based on our HC drawing it up differently and making the change to the play design at halftime. NFL halftime is so quick that you basically only have time to say "this is working and this isn't working". Can't really change a play design mid game. Plus as they said, the time it takes for the coordinators to get from the booth to the locker room in these huge stadiums isn't quite worth it.

Harbough admitting he doesn't make halftime adjustments, like yeah we watched the afc championship game, we know

used to be a low level staffer and i've always had this same thought too...People I think forget halftime in NFL is only 12 min long because College and HS are much longer. The players literally get in there, take a piss, eat a pbj and orange slice and then a 30 second speech by HC and bam head back out. I was part of one Super Bowl and that took incredibly long and was weird switch up. I will say from experience the nastiest place to be is an NFL locker room right when the team arrives. Them toilets turn into a truck stop fast lol
  • Rex Ryan....."Now let's go eat a got damn snack"....😂🤣....I'ma eat some snacks while I watch some more NFL films videos
  • Mind blown. Why do players, coaches, and broadcasters constantly talk about halftime adjustments?
  • 0:58 those are perfect examples of what halftime adjustments are.. they're not saying you change your entire game plan, that's why it's called an "adjustment" not an "overhaul" ...

4:07 - Was anyone else expecting Jameis to start snacking on a crab leg?

Sounds like "halftime adjustments" are more a thing during the Super Bowl than any other time.
  • As a hi school coach coach myself, this is true. You don’t really do a whole lot at half time other than try to motivate your players and throw things out that are not working and maybe add a few things that you realize could work other than that it’s mostly just your players getting motivated enough to fight harder in the second half.

NFL Films couldn't get Brady or Belichick in the studio to explain the 28-3 comeback lmao
  • @capperkayde6031
Andy Reid made this YouTube video so he can keep winning superbowls by making halftime adjustments:)

Gave time for Patrick to get that ankle right… my ass. They made the call to shoot him up with so many painkillers, he could play with his foot hanging off. He was so doped up on the sideline in the second half… don’t play games w/ me

The only reason anybody mentions half time adjustments is to keep up hope with the fans so they don’t bail out early.
  • @murrethmedia
The Patriots have talked about how they knew Super Bowl halftimes were longer, which allowed them time to create a whole new plan and come back to win Super Bowl 51.

The”adjustments” probably happen more likely in between drives on the sideline with positional coaches and they aren’t big. Probably things as small as “hey your depth is a yard to deep come up a little bit” any major changes should have been already prepared and planned for. It’s like hitting in baseball, mid game is not the time to work on your swing and try new things.

All thanks to the cortisone shots at halftime 🤣🤣🤣
