  • "Miku obsession" into "ADHD/autism diagnoses" is the 2nd funniest consecutive videos since "dating simulator" into "coming out as ace"
  • Congrats on joining the AuDHD (autism/adhd) club homie. Yippee! The list of symptoms and experiences you talked about at the beginning were a dead ringer for me (and almost certainly everyone else who gets the diagnosis and a bunch who haven't yet), to the point where about half way through the video I just decided to bookmark this so I can have an easy explanation on hand if anyone asks me about brains being stupid. And the feeling of "wait, this is how normal people feel? what the fuck this is so unfair" is just as universal, I love the recognition here too. Also wait, is this the first Jaiden vid where she's openly swearing? LET'S GOOOO, more realistic dialogue!
  • As someone with ADHD, who was diagnosed when they were younger, hearing about how your symptoms have manifested as you get older has really resonated with me. Thank you so much for sharing! ❤
  • As someone with ADHD a sentence that really helped me when Im stuck in ADHD paralysis is “if you were lazy you would be having fun”.
  • Jaiden: "I have ADHD." Every neurodivergent YouTube user: Pretends to be surprised
  • I relate so much to the "if I do this, I'll become a totally different person, so I won't do it" idea. It's comforting in a way to know there are a lot of people that have the same struggles as you.
  • THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE VIDEO. I was diagnosed as kid and my hyperactivity got low as adult, but as my family died recently my symptoms got triggered, solitude and depression expanded the symptoms I already had and unnoticed. Your video is very clarifying at the subject because sometimes i fell the same. What i actually do is a lotta mind focussing, meditation and as you said, switching daily labours and chores actually helped a lot. The scaryness of the medication, I understand it perfectly. If you said is not adictive, probably I´ll try it sometimes. A big hug and salute from Baja Mexico. Your video helped me a lot, BTW. Cheers and big hug :3
  • @abbexx4283
Perfect example of the fact that symptoms for adhd (and autism) isn’t always the stereotypical stuff
  • Talking about how taking prescription meds changed everything for you genuinely made me tear up. I got diagnosed with ADHD earlier this year and am struggling with the idea of taking meds. You so clearly outlined all of my fears and concerns and it made me feel so seen. Thank you so much for telling us your experience with all this. It seriously helps.
  • I was diagnosed with Autism back in January at age 20. It's crazy how when you're diagnosed with neurodivergency, nothing changes but everything makes sense.
  • Hearing about ADHD from popular media: "This has nothing to do with me" Hearing about ADHD from actual people with ADHD: "Wait, this is the most relatable thing I've ever heard"
  • I'm neurotypical, but I have an undiagnosed friend (currently working on getting her diagnosed so she can function like a human being and not let her squirrel (who she named Beans) run around and cause all the chaos that is currently her brain) and I just want to say...HOLY BANANA PANCAKES to your getting TWO THINGS DONE!!!! WITHOUT THINKING ABOUT IT!!!!! 100% worth celebrating!!!! Flipping GO!!!! Celebratory noises because you deserve it, but not too loud in case of any possible auditory overstimulation Thank you for creating this, she found it and recommended I watch it so I can understand how her rain works a bit better. You are so brave for taking the Adderall and creating this. A very brave soul.
  • I feel seen! Fellow ADHDer here, this is an eye opener. I was diagnosed with it as a kid, they kept changing my doses as I grew, I was on like every ADHD drug out there, until what you feared happened to me, I just didn't feel like myself then I took myself off in high school, probably was a mistake...Now I keep getting pushed by some family about getting put back on them and like you I'm pretty resistant about getting put back on them, but seeing this video is making me reconsider my resistance. Thank you for sharing this, you unknowingly help me.
  • "i did all my homework on time!", "sure i didn't like Studying and found it hard to focus", "Up Until College" hit me like a truck,, i feel like that's a template for adhd diagnosis at this point
  • Jaiden has conquered the three A’s: -Aromantic -Asexual -ADHD (*in whispers* and autism)
  • I was diagnosed with ADHD back in 5th grade (a rare case of a girl getting diagnosed in childhood), and I never have tried medication. I really relate to the fear you experienced about it. This video is definitely making me think about looking into it. (Currently watching and commenting on this instead of working on my fanfic that I REALLY DO WANT TO FINISH BUT HEAVEN FORBID I ACTUALLY MAKE USE OF MY Down TIME AT WORK TO DO IT!)
