WE LOVE prescribed DRUGS! (taken responsibly)

"Miku obsession" into "ADHD/autism diagnoses" is the 2nd funniest consecutive videos since "dating simulator" into "coming out as ace"
  • I almost cried with the description of the first time you took the meds. It was EXACTLY how I felt and how I described to people... my head went quiet. I started crying with the realization that I've spent so much time with all of this noise having no idea that it even existed. This makes it so easier to explain to people. TY for this video and good honeymoon phase. I hope when it ends for you you don't start getting too hard on yourself like I did. <3

I feel this all too much. I've struggled my entire life with Autism and ADHD. I got singled out as a kid up until high school where I met people in the same circumstances. Props to you for living your life. This video made me smile. Have a good day :3
  • Jaiden: "I have ADHD." Every neurodivergent YouTube user: Pretends to be surprised
  • I got diagnosed with ADHD this year, actually a pretty similar story cuz I started searching to get the diagnosis after my sister got her's. It is hard to live with this condition and it's taken like just being "lazy" and that you are someone that "doesn't care enough" but we aren't. If you have someone in your life that has ADHD or ADD, don't forget to tell them that you see their effort and that you understand that they try their hardest. It's not easy to live inside a society that is not made for how your brain works. This video was so great, I felt understood and that's something that doesn't really happen. thank you!

Congrats on joining the AuDHD (autism/adhd) club homie. Yippee! The list of symptoms and experiences you talked about at the beginning were a dead ringer for me (and almost certainly everyone else who gets the diagnosis and a bunch who haven't yet), to the point where about half way through the video I just decided to bookmark this so I can have an easy explanation on hand if anyone asks me about brains being stupid. And the feeling of "wait, this is how normal people feel? what the fuck this is so unfair" is just as universal, I love the recognition here too. Also wait, is this the first Jaiden vid where she's openly swearing? LET'S GOOOO, more realistic dialogue!

I was diagnosed with Autism back in January at age 20. It's crazy how when you're diagnosed with neurodivergency, nothing changes but everything makes sense.
  • Hearing about ADHD from popular media: "This has nothing to do with me" Hearing about ADHD from actual people with ADHD: "Wait, this is the most relatable thing I've ever heard"
  • @sn0wfa11s
Not sure if ppl will read but another possibility of why the symptoms ‘hit later in life’ could be bc ppl don’t expect children to do much. Children have toys to destress, they have their tasks simplified and it’s all done in various fun ways. Your colorful schoolbooks with drawings when you were 8 turned into black and white pages with graphics that will fry your brain. Everything is easy because that’s just expected from children who are still developing their brains. This is where it gets harder for ppl with neurodivergent brains, the development issue. Our brains are just not that developed in some areas from person to person. I hope that helps!!!<3
  • @smileygirl622
What's crazy is I just watched this whole video, related to every single word, and my brain is still like "nah, there's no way people live without constant mental noise, that's just normal"
  • @animalmace
The animation of this video is ABSOLUTELY INSANEEEE
  • @abbexx4283
Perfect example of the fact that symptoms for adhd (and autism) isn’t always the stereotypical stuff
  • @luke8954
Honestly, thank you so much. This video encouraged me and gave me the push to get the mental help I needed, and now my psychiatrist is pretty I sure have ADHD, which is closely related to the anxiety and depression symptoms I have (that I didn't really realise were there earlier either, but explain my issues perfectly). To anyone reading this, if you or anyone you know has any sort of suspicion of symptoms of a mental condition, there is no downside to visiting a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist near you, and the possible benefits are huge.
  • @AquaticFerret
Man this video felt very cathartic to watch right now. Im also currently going through the diagnostic and treatment process for ADHD myself. Its wild to realize just how much it impacts your life
  • @skylaralley2465
Jaiden has conquered the three A’s: -Aromantic -Asexual -ADHD (*in whispers* and autism)
  • @loopedieloop
If neuro divergent people don't stop being so relateable I'm going to have to schedule an appointment... In like two years
  • I never had the put together childhood either, but your symptoms were right on the dot. Learning more about what ADHD actually was was life changing for me. I always thought it was can’t sit still disease, but it’s so much more. Congrats on your diagnosis, I hope it helps as time goes by!
