Tim Urban knows that procrastination doesn't make sense, but he's never been able to shake his habit of waiting until the last minute to get things done. In this hilarious and insightful talk, Urban takes us on a journey through YouTube binges, Wikipedia rabbit holes and bouts of staring out the window -- and encourages us to think harder about what we're really procrastinating on, before we run out of time.

I watched this TED talk about 5 years ago and it had quite an impact on me as it actually motivated me to get up and get to work on things that I put off for way too long. And I will start doing this immediately tomorrow.
  • YouTube tagged this as "recommended for you" and I've never felt more personally attacked

Anyone else here who's always found this TED talk extremely relatable and then got diagnosed with ADHD as a full grown adult? It explains so much😅
  • When procrastinators are in panic mode, they have unparrelled energy and temporarily the most productive person in the world.
  • Really the worst part of being a procastinator is the guilt you endure everyday. Man it legit hurts.
  • I'm here because I've procrastinated for weeks (okay, months), have a deadline in the morning, have barely started, totally freaking out, and so I'm turning to this guy for inspiration lmao
