Hi.. Firstly welcome back ! 🎉🎉 Thanks for your keen observation on the Islamic cemetery. The reason why muslims in Malaysia (not every family members of the dead do this, sometime it depends on the management of the cemetery) planted small plants on top of the grave is because Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) used to put fresh palm or date tree fronds on top of the grave and pray for the dead, for as a long as the fronds are fresh, may God ease the torment of the graves upon them. So, the Islamic ruling in Malaysia rule : it is permissible to plant small plants on top of the grave . In Islam, death is not the end of life. You simply move on from this worldly life to the next phase, the life of the grave, before the Day of Judgement and ultimately whether you'll cast into Hell or enter Eternal Paradise. Sorry for the long answer.😂 Have a good time in Malaysia. ❤❤
