    Oh God the time-passing thing got me! Yeah, it's like... my Dad turns 70 this year. He was over this weekend. I took my pup on a beautiful country walk. Dad stayed home because he can't really walk far like he used to. I felt this horrible sadness because I know that the longer time marches on, the less likely he is to lose his excess weight and come on walks before he checks out. I'm 36 now. One day I'll be 40 and I won't be able to get my younger days back. I stopped working in the service industry when I was 30 (I got a good job) and I actually miss it! I miss being in my 20's, living in a shit house-share with students while I paid back my MSc loan. I'm not sure why I miss it, it was kinda miserable and I have a mortgage and a dog, albeit on the outskirts of the city. It's as if I value my youth so highly that it fucks me up that it's evaporating. Like, HEY! I wasn't done being young! Don't let me get old now, I was getting good at it! I think it probably comes from my parents divorcing and losing a bunch of time with Dad between being 8 years old and 18 when I moved in with him. Edit: Oh my god, that bow was adorable!

    OMG sophie dont think of loosing your baby now, I just lost my beautiful havanese after 17 years of being in my life this may, and it hurts bad, he was the most fierce protector of our family , loyal companion , true Joy , I have no words of what they do to your life and yes I agree in the 17 years he was in my life , the worst moments I experienced , loss of my dad, and other emotional stuff, he was there with the most amazing comfort words can describe, the way I see your evie sitting on you , thats the way it will be for the next 15-17 years of their lives, I MISS him badly, enjoy the ride with her, it only gets better as they age, enjoy her every minute , I did with my boy , God bless ! !
