I immediately came to the comments. It didn't disappoint 😂
  • We made orange closet charms in grade school (50s). Take whole orange, poke holes at equal inter vales. Place cloves firmly in holes. Wrap with ribbon, or place on upturned teacup. Hang from closet rod, or on upper shelf on teacup. Totally natural, smells like christmas!

I did it, trust me it’s not that affective. Only 2/3 days, after that it’s no more use . 😢

I did this and my mom was shocked thinking it's black magic 😅

In scouts we put cloves in oranges for drawers, closets, bathrooms.

Pleeease use essential oils instead of frickin fabric softener. If it stinks that bad that you need to use harsh and toxic sludge to cover it up, IT NEEDS CLEANED. Been there, so no hate but I have a tip from experience! 1.For carpets/rugs, lightly sprinkle baking soda let sit for a few minutes then vacuum 2.sanitize smooth services after dusting/sweeping with diluted white vinegar with just a couple drops of dawn dish soap. The vinegar helps to neutralize strong odors, and it can also be added to laundry that has odor whether your toddler had an accident or you forgot to switch your laundry over from the washer to dryer and smells❤ AFTER cleaning your spaces of you want a nice scent boost, you can make your own smell-good spritz by adding a few drops of your favorite essential oils to some water in a spray bottle and lightly spray😊

Oh yes! Fabric softener! A lovely toxic shit storm of endocrine disrupters! Brilliant!

"What smells so good?" "Oh, just the fumes of fabric softener" "That's great, why does your food taste weird?" "That's just plastic residue don't worry about it!"

This is so toxic. One of the absolute worst air pollutants in people's homes is fabric softener, which no one should even use on clothes

Be careful what "scent" items you use if you have birds or cats.

Awesome idea!, I use the fabric softener like you but I put it in my empty febreeze spray bottle with 91% alcohol at like 2 parts alcohol to 1 part softener and shake well and use as an air freshener in a pinch. It actually smells so much better than the air freshener

Everyone will ask what’s smell so good … and your endocrine system will testify what’s was wrong😅

Instead of fabric softener, couldn’t you use your favorite essential oil? I’ve never known of a fabric softener that I wish my entire house smelled like-especially combined with cloves.
  • @aayushi2277
If we do that in India people will think we have done witchcraft with cloves 😂
