I also show some tricks on how to encapsulate your silver. I talk about what types of silver that I think need to be encapsulated and I show you how to do it! I believe that if you are buying coins for a collection then you can buy whatever capsules you like the best for them. I personally prefer the black ring capsules for my silver coins because I think it makes the silver POP! Some people are bigger fans of the clear airtight capsules. Regardless of which capsules you like the best I think that putting your collectible silver bars or silver coins that you want to keep in pristine shape is a must!

  • I am OCD, all of my silver and gold are in capsules...every bar, every round, every coin. I know its completely unnecessary BUT! I want to do my best to keep every piece nice and shiney and fingerprint free. And if my sizes are off by 1mm I have to find the right size capsule.
  • @ReeferGil
I'm putting my bullion in capsules. Longterm holder, I love handling and looking at all my coins. Protecting my bullion (investment) after paying $550 for 20 coins, a plastic capsule and air tite tube is a nominal payment to protect my investment. My opinion. Love your videos.
  • The bullion coins can be encapsulated for on reason: to keep them visible for pleasure of the eye (like a collection coin) apart from those in tubes already stacked.
  • Excellent vid! I learned a lot about capsules and since I just received my first order of silver, perfect timing! Tysm for this presentation, well done!
  • Think you’ve just became my go to for basic info on bullion and to refresh my memory when needed which is often
  • Really nice to know. These videos are very helpful for us newbies to collecting /stacking.
  • I want mine to remain shiny like the moment I bought them. So they all stay in capsules.
  • I haven’t been “stacking” long and until about 2:30 into the video I thought I had made a huge mistake by encapsulating some of my bullion coins. They’re only for me while I’m passing through the “Shadow of Death” so, when my kids/grandkids get them they can choose how to store their coins. I’m gonna hold on to this video. Thanks a lot my friend. 💯
  • Good tutorial video, I keep about 50 each 38 and 40 on hand and I keep them closed in labeled clear bags. keeping them closed keeps any possible the dust out till needed. I also keep my collectable notes in semi rigid top loaders then add them to 3 pocket currency sheets in my albums I made. I don't advise buying currency albums. Buy the clear 3 pocket currency holders then buy a few 3 ring binder's to put them in. I have more one's, twos, fives so their in a 3 inch binder where my tens, twenty's' fifty's and 100's are in a 1 inch binder. I didn't notice how old this video was till I stared typing.😀
  • I have a few silver eagles in capsules ones I got as a kid that are sentimental and a few that I bought that had beautiful rainbow toning but the gist of my stuff is just in mint tubes. Now on the other hand my gold is all in capsules but that's a softer alloy. Good video
  • Been doing my research for years, just starting stacking silver coins this year, thanks for the info
  • Thank you for another great video. You share great information for people who are like me and new to stacking. Keep doing what you are doing and have a great and blessed day.
  • I’m old enough to remember my mother spending time on cleaning the tarnish off our silverware and tea ware. Used on a regular basis so it was high-maintenance. I’m also OCD, so between the two, I feel the capsules are the way to go. I also iron my clothes.
  • @TIOMKIN1
Excellent Informative Video. I learn a lot I thought I already new. You are never to old to learn. Thanks for the education. Out.

Hey Sliver Dragons, The master of Poured Silver ! Good video. Thank you. Keep the coming. Ody Slim
  • The 2018 Perth Mint Bar sells really well on the secondary market. They have become harder to get. As for capsuling coins or rounds, I think a major factor of if you decide to encapsule is who you're planning to sell too. If you plan to resell and get retail for your silver a capsule always helps in my opinion.
  • Good video im not a sivler stacker myself only gold and you showed the difference between the capsules that the mint provides vs re encapsulateing your coins or rounds with the black ring foam i alway open up anything that comes in a capsule because i recived a 24k buffalo and when i opened it up there was damage around the outside because its 24k is alittle softer and whoever capped it put it in and snapped it closed and got the edge .so yeah those with the black foam are better .
