During the pre-transformer days, Blaster was a microman figure referred to as MC-21 Radi0-Cassette Robo. Due to how the toy was configured as a working AM radio, the transformable micro-cassettes could not be stored in the tape door but were stored in the rear compartment. This compartment was carried over when the toy was released as Blaster.

More sterling work Dave, Blaster definitely on my wants list for this year, another fantastic repair job my friend, and a VTR outtake thatโs right up my street ๐๐๐๐

Fantastic!!! I have this Transformer with the same issue โค As Leanne is watching and you pressed play on Soundwave and music started, she looked at me and asked "they actually play music?" I laughed, and she knew it was thru the magic of editing that music was being played ๐๐๐ As always Dave, absolutely brilliant fix, and totally fascinating how you worked thru the issues ๐คฉ๐๐
