It was nice playing with you... I had the KQ, don't give up on tournaments, I play both cash and tourneys and there is a pretty significant difference, I put you on a Q in that hand and I think most would get it in on that turn as played, that's why I flatted, definite cooler. The main event is a week away.......you really should fire away in that one, it is one of the softest tourneys in the early stages, gets pretty tough the deeper you get but I think with a little study you would do well. I do like your vlogs, keep up the good work.
  • I keep watching these vlogs because Mariano is so down to Earth. It's refreshing

Generally speaking, you play fewer hands and pick your spots in tournaments. You have to remember that you can't just top off if you make a bad call. Of course, it is much more complicated than that. Early play usually means weaker players, mid play is about building a stack, bubble play is where stack size becomes important, after bubble short stacks will get it in lighter because they are in the money. Down to two, maybe three tables, stack size and icm come into play. Do you fold to the final table, or do you play big pots with shorter stacks? I'm no pro so get some help from someone who is, I would if I were planning to play several MSOP tournaments. Learn the different formats, you might like the 6-max NLH or the full ring Limit Holdem or unlimited re-buy NLH.

Too funny! I was just at the Conrad from the 16th thru the 20th. Played there my first night, probably same time you were there. I got wrecked though. Had to head over to the Bellagio the next day to make it back. Great trip!
  • IMO Flatting in between in WSOP events doesn't necessarily mean as much strength as you normally expect, but when it's followed by a check raise jam on the river, it's always effective nuts.
  • dude.. once you run deep in a tourney youll be hooked.... the KQ against your QJ is really brutal 🥲
  • @AssBeak

I’m glad you’re not doing mini tournaments. I used to love watching rampage and now you have become my favorite blogger because of all the tournaments he plays now.
