My 6 year old granddaughter knows "press, drag and lift". "LOOK GRAMMY, MY LEAVES ARE BETTER!!!"
  • I haven't painted for weeks. Linda this morning I find this video and I want to have a go. There is always something that you manage to inspire in me, your pure joy is infectious. Your terminology is fabulous. So many different methods. Explained so even I get it
  • @amysceri3591
Positive lifting is one of the best things that I learned from you. I use that technique in every painting I have done since I learned this and it’s a game changer.

Kristy, I LOVE COLOR! and do not have a favorite color. This is just the perfect lesson for me. It is at a pace that I can follow 😊. I am going to try my hand at it asap. I love your way of having fun and relaxing way of making beautiful art to be proud of. Please have more lessons like this one. Thank you ever so much.❤

I finally realize press , drag and lift is not fast, also the angle of the dagger brush is very important. I can take my time to make it happen. Starting to get it, Kristi!

On replay. Watching this has made me aware that I paint too fast. Will have to slow down.

I hope that you deeply and truly realize just how helpful this video is. It’s just the right combination of providing a technical boost and sparking imagination and creativity. If you have not properly patted yourself on the back for this one yet, do that a couple times. It’s an absolute gem.❤❤❤
  • I just fell in love with the half inch daggar brush... and daggar brushes in general! Sheer genius.
  • @biancam884
Great video, thank you it’s so helpful to see the slower movements.
  • I watched this yesterday - fantastic! I actually made a birthday card with a rainbow of leaves and a round brush! Now that was so much fun! Linda H

I love this video! My favorite things to paint are "Kristy" leaves? I have so many paintings of rainbow leaves, it's so much fun and so relaxing! You've taught me so much, thank you!

Love love love the final piece - almost as much as I loved learning all the new skills you just shared with us❤

After finding your channel a few days ago, I am now binge watching them. I am not an artist, but seeing your fun and interesting videos, I now want to try painting for my own personal enjoyment. Learning your techniques have been very helpful. I need help with placement of petals, leaves and stems to bring more interest to the eye. My placement just seems too symmetrical and unnatural. Thank you for giving me an excitement for a new future hobby.
  • @jojocatattack
My palette will be here tomorrow!! I cannot wait to try this out.
  • @melodycrites3145
Thanks again for sharing. I go way too fast for some reason. A ´get ´er done!´ attitude. Gosh I enjoy the slower pace.
  • @ChantelleArts
these leaves are so beautiful, I think I automatically clean my brush each time but I really want to try your method as it's so pretty 🥰🥰
  • @joyceodonald4932
Subscribed and really enjoying and learning from watching your expertise with watercolor images😊. This one is so good and a big help for me. I’ll rewatch most all when I can order your brushes. Having fun with mine but wanting more.
  • I learn soooo much from your videos! So fun!! Thank you! I’m going to get these pens! ❤
