This is why Leonidas was remembered throughout history he is what every leader should be a strong stoic visionary who put his peoples needs above all else. He also really did slow the Persians conquest to almost a complete halt with his bravery and dedicated soldiers United the Greek world to stand and fight the corruption and finally when faced with certain death he told one of his brave warriors to tell their tale and faced his fate like a man.
