The best thing a woodworker can do is leave his wedding ring at home. Helps to keep his fingers on his hands

My hubbie and I have been married 47 years and he hasn't worn a ring except for our honeymoon. Ron don't worry. It's not the ring that makes the marriage.
  • Salt on your watermelon is like putting salt on your tomatoes it brings out the sweetness.

I have another fun flag fact. When it came time to redesign the flag after Alaska and Hawaii were adopted in as States the government had a contest with the citizens of the country on what the new design should be. A teacher assigned her students this as an assignment and then submitted the designs to the committee choosing the flag. One of her students ended up with the winning design! However the teacher in question actually didn’t like the design and gave it low grade. The student came back and asked her to change it to an A the following year after he returned with the letter from the President etc. congratulating him on his winning design!
  • Watermelon and lemonade, wonderful summertime favorites. That is special to grow your own watermelon. I hope you harvest many more this summer.
  • Ron's impression of the woman yelling at the security guard is perfect! 🤣 No one wants the kid running around, because we all know they will eventually get hurt then youll have a screaming/crying child lol

Watermelon the Mexican way. With seasoning/chile & lime😋
  • Ron - when I started farming after I retired from a career in IT, I found myself needing to work with my hands more. I switched to wearing a silicone rubber ring. They are WAY safer than wearing a metal ring for folks who work with their hands, especially around spinning devices like a lathe or a tractor PTO. As an added bonus - the silicone rings are dirt cheap - so if you beat one up or get tired of how it looks, it's no great tragedy to dump it and buy another. Take care and God Bless.
  • The yellow dress looks so beautiful on you, Justine 💛 Love you guys and look forward to these videos every week.
  • The sound effect as Justine's watermelon half hit the ground just cracked me up for some reason. You guys are just too darn cute!😅
  • Cannot wait till after work to watch. ❤ you both. Everyone, have a great night.
  • Dearest Ron and Justine, I am 70 and, by experience, have made the correlation of the Social Security Office being exactly the same environment as Walmart. You never know what's going to happen, never feel comfortable being there, and can't be yourself because no one knows your joking. Love your channel!

So much fun listening to Justine and her gorgeous story telling! Ron you add to the conversation very well. We’re getting the best of both worlds. “Congratulations on the day of your wedding. Im going to leave you now because I know you are busy.” 😂

Justine, I love that you wore a lemon yellow dress for your lemonade video!

My Grandmother used to make the best watermelon rind pickles. She was an amazing cook and never used recipes, so unfortunately I don’t have any to share, but save your rinds. On a different note, I love your dress!
  • Justine, have you ever done a recipe with Elderberries? I know many things can be made from them.. were they popular in the 1800’s?
  • @trtlgrrl
That lemonade almost sounds like a liquid form of lemon merengue pie. I'm going to make it!
