The work will look great. I did exactly that! I picked one topic “motorcycles” and drew people riding with faces of my friends. Instead of memorizing the bikes I simply used a bunch of references from Pinterest. I also used a pencil... With a general attention to perspective (nothing crazy) I had very similar results, or more accurately, similar style of richness! TRY IT! Put as much detail as you can WITHOUT trying to be perfectly similar to the references!

DAMN, so awesome... and with a ballpoint pen of all things! Watching his videos is so conflicting. They're so inspirational, yet so sad at the same time, knowing that this is all the imagination-filled creations that we'll ever get from the great Master Kim. We miss you, Jung Gi! 💔✌️

Kim Jung Gi's work continues to inspire me. One of the main reasons I am still drawing to this day - I'd have likely given up upon entering college were it not for this man. Keep on drawing master Kim, your work is truly one of a kind.
