I love watching your videos before I go to bed! They relax me and make me wish I was there with you! I need to be outdoors more! ❤
  • Never seen a black fox before. What a handsome little guy! Thanks for sharing Jon!!

I think this is my favorite video of this year so far and maybe my all time favorite. I'm sorry the rest of your trip got canceled. All the wildlife on this trip was awesome. You have always stayed true to yourself throughout your YouTube career. You are a genuine man. I certainly hope you come back and do a longer trip on this amazing body of water. Sometimes I meditate before bed. Sometimes I watch your content. I get the same results from both. Thank you for creating fantastic videos.
  • My dad worked at the Kimberly Clark pulp mill in Terrace Bay back in the '70s. KC logged an area the size of the state of Arkansas centered around Longlac. To set up the operation, Long Lake was dammed at its northern end, diverting the water from Hudson Bay down the Aguasabon River to Lake Superior. They built a dam and hydro plant at Terrace Bay and the mill is on the reservoir. They log all year and truck the logs out on the ice on Long Lake once the ground freezes up. From there the logs go down the Aguasabon to the mill. Beautiful area. Lots of lakes to fish if you can get permission to use the company logging roads.
  • One of my favorites with you solo. Nothing against you...I even really like your narration. But I like it when Erin or Joe n Zander (AND ESPECIALLY YOUR DAD) are along with you. I never went canoeing with my dad and I regret it now for sure (RIP) Anyway Great video dude...gotta love it!!

Did I miss this one 😮! So lovely Jon and can’t wait to what you have in store for us now!💜 B
  • You are my life preserver. A week ago today I donated a kidney to my husband. We have to be in Toronto for another 5 weeks. We live in Penetanguishene and your videos take me a little closer to home❤️🇨🇦🙋🏼‍♀️
  • Great trip. Beautiful lake. Loved everything about this trip, but my favorite few moments was the gorgeous black fox, wow he was beautiful.
  • Came back to watch this video again. Just noticed the behavior of the fox at the beginning; he buried the chipmunk to make sure it was secured before checking you out. After he saw what you were about he went and grabbed his belongings and hit the trail lol.
  • Hi John, I never see black 🦊 to, beautiful journey beautiful place and you catch beautiful fishes thank you for sharing the video.
  • Black fox, pike with no hook, Luna moth…. I’m only part way in and what a cool video start!
  • I loved that black fox it looked just like my dog burying her shhhh... toys. Beautiful camera work. It's amazing how similar that lake is to the one we're long term camping on. It's another long thin lake, running parallel to the one you were on. We found a Luna month floating last week too, it never occurred to us that it might still be alive. Big pike are the staple here for my family but we also have trout in the depths and sneaky little perch. I use 50lb fluoro and the burly pike here still fray it up, especially when they're angry and won't stop biting to get unhooked. Thunder Bay is awesome. We stocked up at Sleeping Giant Brewing the other day, best beer on the North Shore! Cheers!
