Scott from Atherton Bikes sends a HUGE GAP! Scott is one of the main engineers and he's such a ripper!

Then I follow some "normal" people down Dyfi bike park, I don't mean any offence saying that I just mean non pro riders!
So you guys can see that Dyfi Bike park is possible and fun and it's NOT JUST FOR PROS! and lots of people come on a variety of different bikes, different abilities and different speeds and we all just have a good time!

It was THE BEST DAY! such good fun going different speeds and shredding the whole mountain with friends ;-)

  • That last guy @8:49 is me on my best day. LOL. If these are normal people, than I'm a grandma!
  • living here and being able to ride with you guys is sick 🤘🏼 athy and the dig crew have put in so much work, grateful to have somewhere like this on our doorstep! proud wifey of scott who did the gap 🫣
  • Great to see some "regular' people riding. I've always been put off riding at Dyfi as you I've only ever seen good or pro park riders on YouTube ride.

Yay, good to see a more relatable video. I mean, I love seeing Bernard ect rip the place up, but also great to get more of a lifestyle/average rider video. Red Bull and a Sausage is the most relatable thing on the internet.
  • that was sick!!! ✌️ when will we see you racing again? ✌️✌️✌️
  • We were there on Sunday when you were filming. A 55 year old with my 52 year old brother and nephew. We were on levo, kenevo and Giant reign e bikes not full on DH bikes. Nothing broke and nobody died. Massive technical step up from BPW but massive fun. Got plenty on runs in. Cant wait to come back.
  • Good to know that trail bikes are OK, especially as that’s what we’ll be bringing with us on Saturday morning!
  • I'm a very average rider, Dyfi is a sick place to ride and there's plenty there for me to enjoy most tracks are rollable with harder options and the jumps are made really well so gives you alot of confidence to hit them
  • Such a sick day and I couldn’t be happier that this is the title of the film! I’d been saying for ages it’s for so many more people than most think. Brought some ‘new to the park’ mates up and they loved it! You totally freaked me out after when I realised you were following me 🤣 I love Dyfi!
  • Gapping in at 4:40 is so sick! Absolutely loving your vids 🎉 Thanks for showing how much fun it is for us normal crew 😊 Booked 3 more days — two with coaching — in mid August and just can’t wait
  • @derekbaker8791
That was so much fun to watch! It’s so cool to see newer riders attempting challenging trails. What place!

Cheers for the party laps down Insta 360 with the crew, that was some train. Pure laughter along the way and a fresh edit out soon.. 🤘🤘
  • The collective noun should be an Avalanche of Atherton bikes.

I started MTB at 50 last year, I've had coaching, and time in the saddle on group rides, and have thought about DyFi for the last 6 months, with a lot of trepidation. 🥹 Rachel, this video is AMAZING, 🤩 you are an absolute LEGEND, 🙌🏼 and I hope after more coaching lessons, time in the saddle, and after seeing this video, I can take a small trip to try the park for the first time later this year. 🤞🏼 Happy Trails, you absolute LEGEND! 🙌🏼
  • Heading over Thursday, possibly Friday as well😀🤙🏻 I think the odd chicken line wouldn’t go a miss on some of the big features, just so you can ride the track top to bottom and build up to the big stuff!?🤔

@RachelAtherton1 This was one of your best videos. Your laugh is contagious. I love that you showed off the normies enjoying their time at the park. We are always watching Danny Hart, or Bernard Kerr videos of Dyfi. How did this day with the "Normies" compare to the day of riding with Brendan and Bernard? I feel like you had a blast with this day. Keep it up. Can't wait to see you back racing. 😃 All the best, BostonDon

This video was a great idea! Thanks for explaining that at the end.
