Paris 2024 Olympics: Is it Safe to Swim in the Seine River? [No Plan B Anyway]

Paris 2024 Olympics are starting on July 26, 2024. Beyond the opening ceremony that will be on the Seine River, there are a number of competitions that are supposed to be held in the river. Yes, you head it right. The Olympic Athletes are expected to get in and swim in the green and dirty water. In particular the long distance swimmers and the triathlon. And ... there is no back up plan!

I wouldn’t want my shoe to touch that water lol and imagine the water that will get into their mouth while swimming !!! Couldn’t pay me to jump in there … not worth my health 🤦🏼‍♀️
