Basically, cows can benefit from the nitrogen and urea in the chicken litter, specifically the feces. But.. there’s so many things wrong with calling it “food”. What are the chickens eating and how are they being raised? How many of those chickens have diseases? So many other questions to ask. Besides, saw dust and bedding are not food 🤦If cows are grazing on a field of grass and ingest some bird poop, that’s normal. But actually adding chicken litter to cattle feed? That’s just cheap and lazy. These companies will take and run with anything they can say is beneficial to feed if it means it costs them less. Of course these cows are going to get sick from eating a horrible quality diet.

It's been a practice in the bovine industry for a long time...no surprise here. Glad you've addressed it, hopefully more people will also speak on it.

hey, i need some advice, i recently switched from hill’s to taste of the wild but now im hesitating and thinking of switching back, due to the recent heavy metals lawsuit, risk of DCM and diamond’s reputation of things like this, should I switch back to Hill’s, stay on TOTW or switch to another brand?
