    I'm probably in the 1%, but I love Fallen Empires and Homelands. I collected both sets, and keep them together in a nice zipper binder. It's not about the value, the art is beautiful.

    I loved "Fallen Empires" and "The Dark" because of the artworks. Back in the dass my black deck with a playset of "Hymn To Tourach" with 4 different Artworks. Or 3 different artworks for "Goblin Grenade". Got all of them in my "old school" collection. Worth nothing, looking great 😂. Greetz from germany 👍

    This channel makes me both happy and sad. On one hand i love the nostalgia of the old MTG cards from when i played... on the other hand, i sold thousands of dollars worth of cards in 1999 for $20.

    Fallen Empires is easily my favorite classic Magic set - I've got a complete playset of every card and I dedicated a few videos to the set mechanics and story. Yeah it's jank, but it's jank I love.

    I started Mtg at that period. I remember reading the cards and thinking (well, I was a newbie at that time) it's from an expantion set, it's got to be strong..... but how ? I remember thinking hard about how necrite could be any good. after a while I realized, it wasn't some kind of puzzle.

    I remember when I first got started I bought my first starter at a RadioShack of revised lol 😂 Fallen empires was selling for $40 a box $40 I think dual lands at the time we’re about $15 apiece Classic times

    I opened a ton of these back in the days. It was before Internet and I was sure that at some point I would open the bomb of the set! Joke was on me, there was no bomb. More then that, there was no rares, only uncommon 3 or something like that. They were later renamed as rare, but still.
