Hi Vera, I really admire that you're keeping to your own ideals rather than trying to squeeze every last cent out of your content and selling your soul in the process!
  • @lisakey8888
Yes! I can TOTALLY picture you owning your own cozy minimalist tea/book shop. I support that dream. Itā€™s very Vera.
  • @ninak.8966
As a Japanese-speaking Russian person, I'm awed by your pronunciation and intonations, they're just perfect!! You definitely have a talent for languages :) also, you probably know this already, but your name Vera means "Faith" in Russian, it's very beautiful and popular Slavic name.

about slowing down: i am italian and when i was in kindergarten my teacher (a nun) have teach us a song named "la tartaruga" it tells about a turtle that live her life in a rush until she have an acident and have to slow down, and only then she discover how beautiful is the world and she also fell in love and marry a blond male turtle ā˜ŗļø
  • Congratulations šŸ˜ I think one of the most important things you mentioned is to let go of perfectionism. You donā€˜t have to be 150% in everything you do as a lot of HSPs like me and other people think. You can embrace ideas you like e.g. of minimalism like ā€ždecluttered space = decluttered mindā€œ etc but still buy a lot of clothes and shoes because in that area you donā€˜t WANT to be a minimalist. This applies to all areas in life. Letā€˜s create our own best version of our world and ourselves šŸ™Œ

I am a Japanese teacher from Japan in the U.S. and have been watching your videos for a long time, and I had NO idea you spoke good Japanese. Keep it up ā¤ ćŒć‚“ć°ć£ć¦šŸ‘
  • You are the voice of sanity in a crazy, stressed out, unhappy, out of control world Vera. I guess you show us the choice we have about this- either get swept along by the tide or do some things to make life more the way we want it to be as individual people with lives as different as stones on the beach. I'm liking Niksen at the present, my garden, old movies and red wine. A good friend once told me that we have to do the things that make us happy. It seems a simple idea but so many people are doing the opposite and expecting to find happiness, fulfillment and contentment by increasing the load on their backs. Make it half a million Vera. Well done you!
  • Sipping on some diet wild cherry Pepsi right now. Nothing will ruin your channel for you faster than management that would turn it into a grind for you. You just keep doing what you're doing because 300,000 all on your own is no small feat. You're so delightful as is your channel and I always look forward to your videos.

Congratulations Vera 恕悓ļ¼ Your Japanese really sounds natural. I'm amazed! ć¾ćŸę—„ęœ¬ć«ę„ć¦ćć ć•ć„ćšŸ˜Š Authentic & intentional, that's exactly what I love about your videosšŸ’•

Congrats, Vera. Iā€™ve been here for several years now, happy to see things evolve and grow for you šŸ˜Š

The most helpful thing to decluttering I've found is to separate (A) frequently-used things, (B) infrequently-used things, and (C) questionable things. Keep only A items visible or at your fingertips. If you use something less than once a week, it's OK to spend 15 seconds getting it out of a box or high shelf. You can move things between the categories if you find you use them more/less than you assumed. After six months, review the questionable things and maybe get rid of some. For featured art pieces, viewing/appreciating them is a use, so that's how you're using them frequently.

Wonderful news Vera! Congratulations on hitting 300,000 subscribers!!!

Hurray, Vera! Thank you for sharing your lovely self with us.
  • @kChandler10
Congrats on 300,000+ subscribers! I'm so glad you speak about being a HSP and help educate those who are unaware of what it means. I've also reduced almost all mailings this year. I wish everyone would do the same. An easy way to simply your life and protect the environment. ā¤ļø

"I prefer to keep things kind of small and manageable [by not having channel consultants or other social media platforms]." (9:38) A minimalist approach to being a content creator.

I always look forward to your videos! It's like a good friend visiting with you. I am not sure how many years I have been listening to you. Very proud of you for your viewer numbers and your hard work dedicated to your channel! I loved your comment about having a "assault on the senses" regarding a ESP. You absolutely nailed it! That's exactly how I feel and regarding travel, spot on and great description. CONGRATSšŸ˜„ x's, lj
