I met bobby the brain Heenan in a restaurant in the late 80s. I was a child I was afraid to go up to him. He saw me Staring and knew that I wanted to speak with him. He came up to me and gave me a high- five and said a funny joke. We took a picture together and gave me an autograph. What a great guy.

Gorilla looking down on Bobby seeing he is about to cry "WILL YOU STOP?!?!"

the only time in his professional career that The Brain broke character.....I wanted to give him a hug.

Right when Bobby said “Goodbye My Friend.” You can just hear that heart snap. Mine snapped too.

Yeah, I heard Bobby said if he wasn't allowed to mention Gorilla's passing, he'd quit immediately. His love for Gorilla Monsoon was that deep.....

Heenan plays such a great heel, but he's got a heart of gold.

It's crazy that Heenan, Monsoon, Okerlund and Fink were the best to ever do it and all worked together at the same time.

It's so damn sad to see Bobby trying not to cry. A great man, weeping for his friend, another great man. Those two guys were a big part of my childhood. RIP

Referring to the Pearly Gates of heaven as now the "Gorilla position" it is the most classy, loving thing to say in memory of his long time friend. Class act from true heartfelt love. I felt it too listening to him.

No matter how many times I see this, when Bobby cracks, I crack. Feel the same whenever I hear him say "I wish Monsoon was here" at the Hall of Fame ceremony. Rest in peace, Gorilla Monsoon. And rest in peace, Brain. You were the best broadcast team ever to grace the wrestling industry, and you are both sorely missed. Thank you for all the years of entertainment you gave us.

Gorilla and Bobby together on the USA Network in the 80s was about the best TV ever got, as far as I'm concerned.
  • @SylentEcho
Man, Bobby had a hard time holding back in those last few seconds. Weird seeing him all uneasy like that.
  • @bigbluemsp
It was a heartfelt tribute and you can see as Bobby is fighting back the tears.

I still miss Gorilla Monsoon. His commentary was always the best. He and Heenan were always hilarious together.

Everytime I see this and when he says "I wish Monsoon was here" during his HOF Speech,It makes me wanna tear up.

Bobby Heenan to Gorilla Monsoon: "Do you know Koko B. Ware's mom's first name? Tupper."
  • @WolfieRich1
I can just imagine them both meeting again in heaven. Gorilla: "Oh, will you be serious... you got up here?!" Bobby, almost falling off a cloud: "You gotta...yo- HEY QUIT SHAKING IT I'M TRYING TO TALK" Gorilla: "Even in death, Bobby the Brain Heenan continues to demonstrate his intelligence... Gorilla: "I would say a graceful entrance into the afterlife, but you look like you're about to throw up!" Bobby: "Of COURSE I'm about to throw up! First Saint Peter doesn't give me the first class cloud, I'm not surrounded by angels with big...harps..and then I get here and see you!" Gorilla: "Unbelievable..."

Loved how Heenan broke down at the end. He was a true friend to the end.
