Old LFE & 3M Traffic Lights For Yield Traffic (Mission Ave & Fig St)

More weird looking traffic lights in the city of Escondido. The weird thing here is the 3M traffic light on the mast arm that has all solid lights and tells drivers to yield to turn left. It's the same thing in the opposite direction too. When you see a 3M traffic light on the arm like that with standard traffic lights, you would expect it to be a left turn signal but oddly it's not. Maybe they were put there in case they needed to turn them into left turn signals in the future. If you're wondering what kind of bulbs are in that 3M signal, the green and yellow lights have LED bulbs and the red light has an incandescent bulb. Almost everything at this intersection is incredibly old and you can even see the age of them when I panned over to the old pedestrian buttons and the back of the traffic lights at the end of the video.

When I saw the thumbnail I also thought the 3M light was a left arrow light too but was shocked to see it was a regular 3M traffic light with standard traffic lights which you don’t see often but I love seeing 3M and standard traffic lights on a mast arm together and same thing with a McCain PV and and standard traffic light which I’ve also seen together on a mast arm but it’s rare to see combination like that. But great video tho
