Lucky for us, Anthony's East Coast personality never fully adapted to the West Coast life, so he's back. Unlike in the past when Una Pizza Napoletana was mostly a one-man operation with a limited menu, Anthony has teamed up with the chefs behind the Lower East Side's Wildair and Contra, Jeremiah Stone and Fabián von Hauske Valtierra. Una Pizza is back in New York and we couldn't be happier.

"If you come and eat this pizza, youre getting the best of me. Its not that this is the best or I'm better than somebody else or they're better than me. It's just me youre getting." I like this guy .

Its always really refreshing to me to see someone with actual passion for what they are doing in their lives. I hope I can find something like that soon.

Excellent video. Anthony Malgieri is a wonderful pizzaiolo who shares his pizza with the world! Loved his: "this isn't pizza like Naples Pizza" story.

You have 3 million followers, could you please hire a sane sound technician to balance out and normalize the sound inputs from different cuts? Thank you.

That asian guy in a sports bra looks like the quintessential New York millenial.

Those tattoos on the asian guy look like the cover of my notebook when I was 13.

This is a cool evolution of his work, going from his first pizzeria with the same name to today and seeing the growth made in his craft but also with his colleagues and how they’ve furthered this concept
-
Really like the fact he knows himself and knows where he is in his life, what he stands for ( if anything ) and just knows whats up
-
The love, obsession, and attention to detail of this man is inspiring

I can't even lie, my very first job back in 2012 was flipping pizza for $8/hr, and even though I'm glad to have gotten outta food service, watching Munchies (especially The Pizza Show) makes me want to go make pizzas again somewhere just for the craft of it. I was working at a Brooklyn style (thin crust) spot. I loved tossing it up into the air to get it stretched perfectly thin, my dough always came out better than my coworkers' dough (lukewarm water, poured very slowly), I loved seeing the finished product come out of the oven, and there was ALWAYS food to take home for the night ^_^

I love Anthony. he’s amazing and so inspiring, I don’t think I ever saw someone that loves to do anything like him. If i saw him I’ll let him sign my t-shirt
