turns out kamikaze bombs are OP once you learn how to recycle 100% of pilot
  • Turkey, "We are closing the Bosporus for all warships." Russia, "To protect Ukraine?" Turkey, "No, to protect you."
  • Can I just say, having an inset map for wider context on the Sevastopol Bay map at 4:27 was quite nice. Well done.
  • Large blue water navies are completely different than those of the Mediterranean and other shallow waters. Drones have potential, but the Atlantic and Pacific are huge. Drones do not have the range, speed, or durability to go after enemies in the deep blue.

A funny thing, and also a scientific fact: Due to the very low oxygen levels found at the seabed of the Black Sea, organic materials have a very low rate of decay. Meaning that we can see wooden ships from the Hellenic period, 400BC. Because of that, the flag on the flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet should be flying for a few decades.
  • When Moscva sank...its was like a dark pridiction for Moscov for the days ahead...they should have stoped after that
  • The Russian Navy is not being defeated in the Black Sea, their sailors are simply engaging in a special crab feeding operation.

A very interesting and comprehensive report. Thank you for posting it.

Taiwan needs to accelerate making lots of sea-baby-type drones.
  • The idea that because something can be destroyed means it is now obsolete keeps coming up in relation to the war in Ukraine. But that's not really how things become obsolete. Warships offer extremely useful capabilities and unless something else can do those jobs better they're not going anywhere. Instead navies will have to invest in protecting those assets.
