Chris and Dena built the Sundance Bus (www.instagram.com/sundancebus/) so that they could travel the country with their two children in a home on wheels with their matching Jeep in tow. And I have got to say WOW their bus is STUNNING! It's actually full of secret features too that make it extra special like a roof cap extension, an emergency hatch on a powered actuator, a hidden TV in the bedroom and completely hidden appliances. Deena had many aesthetic ideas for her build that Chris absolutely knocked out of the park and I think their bus is an exceptional example of a collaborative project between two talented individuals. Super nice bus and even nicer folks! Was great to see this at the fair, and Chris was such a gracious and informative host as I and everyone toured and asked a million questions. I specially loved the sink cover/table top, and hope to use that idea in a future build!

I do agree with the statement about a small traveling setup making you work better as a couple with kids! we don't have this lifestyle but we own a RV and spend weeks/months traveling together at times; and I have found out we definitely are happier and work better as a team when RVing!!!

Seriously one of the nicest buses I've seen and I've seen hundreds. Love the sink cover idea doubling as your table. Once of the few buses with a stove that has a countertop level cover that I've seen. Love the slide-away oven door cover too. The kids loft is great. I think that space is too small for adults, at least it would be for me, but perfect for kids. Almost like a tree house. The porthole in the shower is on my list when I build. I want to give my bus a nautical theme but couldn't decide where to put the porthole. Bathroom seems best. Very nicely done.

Just that overhang he built makes me want to recheck my man-card and learn how to weld. Superb bus all around with her aesthetic and his engineering. Seriously, if you can make a space that small work with kids, you know you've got something special.

BEAUTIFUL. Love the floorplan and the build. Everything... except the single pane windows; I would go with double pane acrylic windows, the best and utterly practical. Great job !

The title of this video did not disappoint! That really is a beautiful build. Very bright, amazing colors and just plain comfortable. So many, if not most, factory RVs these days are so danged dark inside and cramped space. A couple of months ago, we looked at some RVs around this size, and frankly, I just got annoyed at how crappy they are. Especially the dark and cramped thing. It sure seems like the DIY builds are just better, in many ways. For one, you build it to YOUR specs and needs. Not to someone else's! Also, the man is right about the TV! LOL It's a must! I couldn't do this without a few TVs around the build and even a TV outside. LOL I'd also have, like we did before, a folding tower with a UHF/VHF deep fringe TV antenna on it. Especially these days, unless you are out where there's is no reception, there should be some channels that one can pick up.
