God wants you to know this

The lord allowed me to isolate myself for a year after i graduated from HS. He gave me a choice on what I did with my free time. And I chose to read the Bible for that year, I took away social media, didn’t have any friends. It was my family, Jesus and I. It got lonely so I started to pray for chickens to keep me busy bc I didn’t have a job. I would read my Bible in front of my chickens. I had learned a lot, the lord gave me so much knowledge that I didn’t even know was possible to have, all bc I was determined to know more about God and to try my best to obey his word.

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God” ( Matthew 4:4 ).

Young but tired Christian here. The voices of the world are so vast and so very loud. I had just been watching, in misguided desperation, a rather self-centered ‘self-help’ video that had come up on my feed and was left feeling very confused. This video showed up in my feed right afterwards. I needed this. I needed to hear this. God’s Word is the one and only true Word and our one and only true guide. Thank you.

Teenage Christian here and things get hard!! There’s that voice that sometimes comes like “What if my friends think I’m boring now” or “What if they don’t like me anymore” but I try to remind myself that the people God wants next to me will stay next to me

I really want more Christian friends. Support is so important and I just want rest. Friends to talk to, it gets so hard walking by yourself I fall at times then deep but the Lord always picks me back up as the scripture says. But man I want wise company to be around. The Lord doesn’t like when christian’s are lukewarm, and i pray that everyone in the Word becomes fully reliant and believes in Gods plan, Hid word and everything He is, Has and continues to do. Asking if yall would pls pray for me. I’m going thru such a fearful season, (which I believe this is spiritual warfare)I know this isn’t God and he’ll never do such things to me. I know this is the attack of the enemy, I haven’t felt normal since Monday this week, I’ve been trying to hear the voice of God and to be still in His presence, but a deep fear in my heart just struck me! It’s been hard, and I know that God isn’t leaving me nor rejecting me, I know He is my refuge and I will take refuge in that. I just haven’t been feeling the same, just fearful in everything little thing I do, doubts and anxiety, depression and worry, it’s really fearing. My pastor preached on this last night. Isaiah 59:14-21 (19) when the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. Folks there is a standard when we're following the Lord, seek his righteousness, blessed are those who hunger and thirst for it. I remember when I was new I wanted to put it all in a Formula and still do what I wanted, I watched to many "christian videos" about the bible and not enough seeking in the scripture. Guys there's no way around it, pour in to his word, pray endlessly 🙏 God bless

I’m a Christian, and I can say that it hasn’t been easy. Constantly having to face temptations, and sometimes my thoughts turning against me as well. However, what’s more powerful than my thoughts and any temptations, is my savior Christ Jesus. Amen!
