Awesome, awesome, awesome! I'm old enough to be your father, almost your grandpa, and this truly ministered to me! Keep it up, you have a very strong calling on your life, my brother!

I went through being so consumed with social media, and my electronics I lost the desire to read the bible, and never gave the bible time or much attention, and it was just a check off when I did read it, nothing serious. Well, I prayed and cried out to God to give me the love and desire for his word again, and he did! Im doing the chronological bible reading and loving every bit of it, and learning a lot. I thank Jesus for giving me a love to read and know his heart through reading his word again. All glory to him. Thanks for sharing.

I'm 75 and starting to have problems remembering my name! Seriously, I always had problems memorizing things, so when I tried to memorize Scripture, I felt like a failure compared to others in my study group. But, I realized that knowing what the Scripture meant was where the value was. I no longer feel ashamed about my inability to quote chapter and verse. I do feel much closer to God through the understanding of His Word. Blessings everyone! :)

Emotions won’t drive you to read, but reading will get you emotional The Bible is a hyperlink text which means information from the others books are essentials to understand each other Memorize Bible verses to enrich your spiritual life Reading mixed with prayer will greatly improve comprehension and understanding God Thanks for the video! I'm going to use it.

I literally was at my wit ends in my depressive episode and literally prayed God “the Devil is trying to take me out and I need help.” I did not mean to click on your video while doomscrolling but by accident here I am. I’ve been struggling to read my Bible due to work, life, and, depression but now I know to help me to get out of this episode. I need to read the Word. Praise be to God😭🙏🏾
  • i started reading it again too. this time i went in with the mindset of “what can i learn from this” rather than “i have to read this to gain God’s favor or else i’m sinning if i don’t” and a simple shift has helped me to appreciate it far more.

Young man, I'm 62 years old and your videos are extremely encouraging. Please know that you are impacting so many lives. Thank you for taking time to record these videos.
  • Every night when I'm going to bed I always put my audio bible on, I have started to have dreams when sleeping something that I never used to have. Listening to the Audio Bible is such an awesome experience all the lusts and addictions that I had, have completely vanished. The word of God is POWERFUL.
  • Great video. Honest and to the point. One thing I want to comment is that once I started reading, I felt a little intimidated. I even told my pastor, "What's up with these chapters?" They like repeat themselves! But, now after about a decade into my faith, I finally get it. Reading the Bible isn't about becoming scholarly, but actually relating more to God and getting to know Him! It's like calling Him up, "Hey Dad..." And, the Word just pops and a "conversation" begins and soon enough, you feel weird not going to the Bible because He's your best friend, mentor, teacher, Father, healer, etc. etc. I thank God for coming after me with relentless love. If you read this message, know that Jesus loves you. Deeply. Be blessed.

I woke up just now and felt the holy spirit saying you can read your bible! And I didn’t feel much desire to, though it’s early, I’m awake and have every reason. I opened my phone as I often do and prayed God would give me help to change this and this was the first video that popped up

Started reading the Bible for the first time and just read the book of Matthew
  • ...that moment when you realize that feeling of dread isn't because you HAVE to go pray, it's because you haven't prayed. 🙌 Great video. I like to find scripture for each bullet point on my prayer list too.

🙌 A great way to memorize scripture is to start with one a week & post it up on your fridge or bathroom mirror or create a phone background. These tips are great! Thank you for creating this video & encouraging others!!!
  • I TOTALLY can relate to what you are saying. I'm 66 years old and I've got health issues which make me fatigued, tired, exhausted ALL the time! But even before my health issues began, I was always finding something else, anything else to do besides read the bible. It was always a difficult thing for me because I knew I wouldn't understand what I was reading. Sidenote: I did struggle in school with memorization and comprehension also, so putting the bible in front of me was like..."your kidding, right?". But as I got older, I realize that God is worth my effort and my time and my attention. So I just think about how he protects me, and feeds me, and shelters me, and I could go on and on ..., the least I can do is work on my relationship with him through his book and prayer. Thank you for giving me even more inspiration, little brother! 🥰

i dont remember who said this but it really helped me, "remember, once there's a moment you dont feel like reading it, that is when u must read it" it has a bigger impact in my language, i dont know how to translate it right 😭 so everytime i feel lazy and lie down on my bed ready to sleep, ill remember that word and sit back up again groggily like a tired zombie and read lmao

I'm proud of you Orlando. To hear a young man talk about how you love the Word of God, and what it means to you is such a blessing. Lord Bless You

This is the first video I've seen of you and I just gotta say it feels like I'm hearing from a friend at a bible study. So casual and honest, no frills, just truth with a touch of lounge music. Keep doing what you're doing man!

Catholic here, praying with scripture, what we call “lectio divina” is something I think God is calling me to improve a lot, this video popped up at the right time. ✝️

Studying scripture is a discipline. Once you start learning it becomes more fascinating, you pray, do word studies, it all opens up to you and makes you pray for wisdom over everything else. I collect bibles and start a new one after completing my last! I love study bibles and dictionaries. I study during my commutes too! God bless.

Memorizing scripture helps me in prayer so much. When you are praying about a matter, you remember scriptures relating to the matter and are able to pray into more well equipped. It also helps, memorizing the Psalms, in worship. Tell God that you know who He is through the word is awesome.
