"dawn to 9pm" - an FTM cover

In April of 2022 I began my medical transition by starting testosterone. This cover was created using voice clips recorded at the very beginning of my transition as well as clips recorded nearly one year after starting testosterone.

I have always been a singer, but I feel like I've truly found my voice for the first time in my life. I was so afraid of what might happen to my voice after starting on testosterone, as vocal changes from T are permanent. But I'm so grateful for my vocal journey so far, and I can't wait to continue learning and growing into my new voice.

I hope this video brings hope other young trans people who feel scared and alone. I will be with you.
