This is the battle of Morannon brought to life as described by J.R.R Tolkien himself. The assault on the Black Gate is a great diversion from the Lords of the West, hoping that the ringbearer will fulfill his quest. Will the West go under in a great fire, or will they rally and forever destroy Sauron? This video attempts to portray Tolkien’s vision of the last desperate move from the West.

8:41 "And they shall all subscribe, leave a like ... ". Wow, Sauron has some weird demands. I never read the book and never knew Tokein included this in his works.

I just came over this and was expecting another story poorly told and lacking details, however this is so rich and amazingly produced! Well done sir..
  • @Mark-ny7us
At 8:38 on the bottom of the text, really like little details like that👍🤣
  • @mightydwarf104
Yessssssssssssss Please make the battle of dale and siege of erebor
  • @PedroMM193
I feel offended by Sam being called "servant" of Frodo. He is the Bearer of the Ring Bearer.

As I said last time on your video covering the Siege of Gondor: I like the fact that you describe the tactics as described in the book of The Return of the King while also using some clips and sound effects from the movie. It's a good combination like bacon and eggs.
  • They heard a sound they all along had feared: "WHERE THERE'S A WHIP, THERE'S A WAY!"
  • @GeekZoneMT
As always, superb production quality my friend!

In time you can make the battles of the first age , when Feanor and Fingolfen and the first great men stood in the face of the great dark Lord Morgoth .
  • easterlings and orcs : lets ambush this gondor and rohirrim forces Aragorn : YOU ACTIVATED MY TRAP CARD!

Don't let anyone criticize your graphics. Sure they're not a crazy special effects but what matters the most is clarity, and your visuals are never confusing or distracting.

Nice touch with the Mouth of Sauron's demands. Quality content!

In the Second Age... the Last Alliance .. the remnants of Numenor and Noldor broke through the Black Gate , laid siege on Barad Dur itself , faced Sauron in single combat.... And defeated him.. There was no such feat again in the Third Age...

"...throughout his realm a tremor ran, his slaves quailed, and his armies halted, and his captains suddenly steerless, bereft of will, wavered and despaired. For they were forgotten."

Your beautiful storytelling made me cry. You honor Tolkien's works and I hope more of the world can appreciate this Middle Earth more.
  • Love how detailed and accurate to the books your analysis was! Its good to see someone covering these battles in detail, and you’re the only channel I’ve seen cover them accurately to the lore. Could you next do the battles of the fords of isen? And maybe then gradually lead up to helm’s deep.
  • Beware of the Easter egg. Did you find it? Comment down below! Thanks to “Poop train conductor” and “Teleperonwë MC” for supporting me on Patreon, it means a lot to me! Amazingly produced and visually abstracted. Great way to refresh your memory as a bookreader. Your videos are worth more than a coat of mithril!
  • I think out of everything in these videos (which are great by the way, 10/10) my favorite are the little rectangles for groups of soldiers that start to break as they lose
  • @SEBASTIV
The way you read keeps me coming back to this video
