you can turn of the "auto stacking" of your triggers under settings
  • the last game you had the win for 3 turns, as kambal can drain your opponent for 2, and the goblin cost only 1 to activate, so you sac a creature, make 2 treasures and 2 squirrels, drain opponent by 2, rinse and repeat, infinite mana and drain

I get Field of the Dead has not being legal for a hot long moment with MTGA's edh. But when FotD is in your command zone, why not play both regular basics and snow basics to make it a bit easier to get to 7 differently named lands.

I've been rocking Necrobloom in brawl since it came out. I'll likely build it in commander one of these days, too. My brawl deck is a bit different from your build, focusing on cycling lands to dredge a ton and either mass reanimate lands or just be a reanimator deck. I'm also playing like 45 lands. That being said, I love your take on it, using the tokens a lot more effectively than mine does.

Well this was certainly a treat. I’d watch you play brawl any day mate. Great stuff.

That’s the Johnny avatar. They also made a Spike, Timmy, and Vorthos (and sleeves). You bet your ass that my Prismatic Bridge decks have all the Timmy bling.

Can we get a deck list in the description?

As someone who plays Brawl with an altered and updated version of the Thalia and the Gitrog Monster you played way back when, I have a few suggestions for you: 0. Let me preface with that I included Necrobloom into the 99 for that deck. I was tempted to swap it for Thalia and Frog but I love her so much that I decided against. 1. CUT the mana rocks aside from Arcane Signet. A green deck shouldn't play mana rocks when it has access to way better stuff, like Delighted Halfling, Paradise Druid and Armored Scrapgorger, the latter one pretty useful when you're also milling your opponent and can interact with their graveyard. 2. 37 lands, even with all dorks and MDFC, is still low, and that's mostly because of fetchlands. I play my Thalia and Frog deck with 38 lands, none MDFCs, and 10 fetchlands, and I also sometimes struggle with my opening hands. In fact, I tend to mulligan hands which have 2 fetchlands and a dork depending on the situation mainly because I lower my chances of drawing more lands. 3. Azusa, Lost but Seeking, I initially run her but found out that she was a dead card most of the time, mainly because of the low land count. For her to shine you'd need to have a land recursion engine enabled, but if not she is just there rotting on your hand. I ended up cutting her. I also cut Explore for similar reasons, preferably running another dork or Glimpse the Core, if Rampant Growth was in the the client that slot would be for that one for sure. I find Dryad of the Ilysian Grove a better option too because he at least can fix my mana in a pinch. 4. Crucible of Worlds. You mentioned you cut it, but I'd advice to make space for it and also for Ancient Greenwarden, which is an elemental that can be drawn from Nissa and also doubles your landfall triggers. Also I included Eladamri, Korvecdal because he is an elf that can also be drawn from Nissa and is insanely good. With your token generation you could also abuse his ability of casting stuff from the top for one green mana. 5. Six. I considered running it but I'm running Wrenn and Realmbreaker and have to yet find a reason to swap them for Six. Still I've find the Retrace ability very useful. 6. Final cards that would be good for your deck: Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines, another useful "doubler" ETBs effect that also nullifies ETBs of your opponents. Primeval Titan, because of course he is amazing with landfall decks. Entish Restoration, a better version of Roiling Regrowth that most of the time you can use to trigger 3 landfalls for 3 mana at instant speed. And finally Dust Bowl, because I know you love blowing your opponents lands. Let me know what you think.

I always cut primal vigor versus anointed procession. The extra 1 cost and the fact that it helps opponents drives me nuts when I draw it off curve

I played a sealed event last friday and pulled the alt-art Necrobloom, and two Sixes (one promo). I pulled no real win-cons. My games all went to time lol. I was stoked though because I loooooove Insidious Roots, I've wanted to build around it, so Necrobloom and Six are exactly what I want. I will go less landfall, more mill and recursion and reanimation.
  • @jdlemon2217
I love land based decks. It's like playing as a druid in d&d
  • @wingshad0w00982
I've been loving the jeskai energy commander. Its very, very good. The deck is really fun won't lie. Now we just need a temur energy commander.
  • I have a Kambal deck! It's a ton of fun in commander. Helm of the Host is an absolute all-star (if it sticks around long enough)
  • @dyne313
There are some awesome commanders in this set. I have been having fun with Eladamri.
  • @PantomimeHorse
My fervent wish is that Arena devs turn off BO1 hand-smoothing for brawl specifically, as I've noticed it absolutely fucks any of my decks playing a high number of MDFC lands
  • @aselbst
I think you just lost a game in which you had an on-board instant speed infinte combo: Warren Soultrader + Chatterfang + Kambal. Pay 1 life, sac a squirrel, make treasure + squirrel, drain for 2 life, repeat?
  • @Earthworm_Zim
Deck list for this? I’ve wanted to make a token-centric version of Necrobloom and this looks awesome.
