During the pilot and performer party for the 2023 Wings Over South Texas Air Show, CDR Alex Armatas, the Commander and Flight Leader of the Blue Angels, introduces to the Buc Days guests and other distinguished members of the public and representatives of the sponsors of Buc Days and the 2023 Wings Over South Texas Air Show the 2023 officers and highlighting enlisted personnel from all over the state of Texas.

All airshow video shot by ZINGER AVIATION MEDIA during the 2023 airshow season and especially at locations during the 2023 airshow season which would have featured airshow announcer Howdy McCann at the microphone are dedicated to his memory. Howdy passed away suddenly on March 9, 2023, and his voice and contributions to the airshow industry should never be forgotten.
