lol. Loving Chewbacca breathing in the background.
  • My only shooting experience with a 1911 was familiarization on a Trainfire range on Okinawa in the very early 1960's. All I can say is that the bullets eventually succumbed to gravity but without impacting any target vicinity. I pulled duty as a prisoner chaser at Fort Ord in 1960 and was given one magazine and a holster. No way was I going to shoot the miscreant given the petty crime of which he was convicted. Even if I tried to fire that old rattletrap, it's certain that I would only be a danger to bystanders or property. Not my favorite firearm.

My Colt M1911 is still running like a champ it’s a 1914 vintage so in my honest opinion not to many things really still around and capable of doing what they were originally designed and intended to do

ive got a 1922 colt police positive revolver chambered in 32long. a bit scuffed on the outside but locks up tight, a completely solid shooter.

That one has a lot of potential. A little bit of repair/updating and it will make a nice carry piece.
  • How many of the recent manufacture pistols will be functional 100 years from now? They built quality with steel back in those days.

Sure a good shooting pistol worth fixing up would be a decent carry and field gun.

Most any .45 auto is worth saving with a little TLC and a few parts...kind of like you and I in our golden years. Hope all your medical tests come out ok, I'm sure some doctor will get to know you inside and out.

The Gunfather Restoration people in Montana can restore this pistol to its original glory.

"It is the policy of this channel to shoot guns..." 🥰

The heavy breathing is distracting like others have said. Also it would be nice to see the details of the gun that you discuss. The camera is too far away.

Who was snoring in the background?😂
