Measure for new California city no longer on November ballot

The company hoping to build a new city near Fairfield in Solano County announced the measure will no longer be on the November ballot. The company has said its goal for the new city was to build new homes for 400,000 people.

Horray! Well that did not take long to defeat. Rio Vista does need 5,000 - 10,000 more people to get more available services, etc. but not 5-40 times more as proposed west of town. Rio Vista has available 700 acres already approved for future housing.
