These are positive stories we need for human kind now

This demonstrates the real reason why we have a lack of diversity in certain fields. Different cultures raise their children differently. Let’s compare this to what the kids on the other end of the bay or doing with their time.

A lot of comments are focusing on the kids’ ethnicity. But we have to realize that this sort of brilliance does not occur anywhere else in the world. This story is about American ingenuity, hard work, etc. Unless you are crediting the British or German people for all American inventions (because they all immigrated to the US from other countries in the past), let’s not continue the foolish talk about immigrants doing things, and instead celebrate the American kids doing brilliant things. #MakeAmericaProud

A strong family is generally a prerequisite for early success and south Asians generally have that. However as Jobs, Ellison and others have shown long term success needs toughness that these coddled children (also generally true) are unlikely to exhibit.
