Prosciutto, but better. Jamón Ibérico is in a league of its own. Nutty with a powerful yet refined acorn flavor, fatty and rich, and yet so incredibly addicting. It's truly one of the most amazing foods I've come across in my life, and the process of carving and enjoying this delicacy is quite special.

SUBSCRIBE so we can catch Gordon. We're gaining on him. We got this.

A huge thanks to my friend Jonathan at La Tienda for the amazing leg of Jamón. Check out his amazing online shop at www.tienda.com/.

  • @GugaFoods

As a Spanish I was afraid of what crimes were you going to commit with a Jamón of that quality, but you guys did it perfect, even getting the special knife to cut it and doing one of the most typical Spanish dishes, the croquetas. I'm happy that you have searched all that information of how to eat the jamón and hope that you have enjoyed it, great video.
  • Im spanish myself. Just wanna say thank you for having such respect for the tradition and the culture that involves jamón iberico. Amazing video.
  • I am from Spain and i had goosebumps watching this video. For the Spaniards the Jamon Ibérico and the croquetas are just part of us, and you treated the product so good. Making croquetas with a good jamon is an amazing way to enjoy the jamon too. In my family, we usually buy a jamon in christmas, becouse is an expensive invest. But it is amazing to have visit at home and cut some jamon in a plate to enjoy it together. Thank you for your video, and thank you for extend our culture with the world.

Tíos este vídeo es un auténtico homenaje al jamón, el que le ponga una crítica a esto tiene que hacérselo mirar. Es una maravilla y tratan al jamón con un respeto increíble. Mt obrigado Guga!

As a Spanish, I approve. You guys are amazing! You made a great video. All spaniards love Jamón and love jamón croquetas, and I must say that those croquetas look amazing. Many thanks for sharing this! As a suggestion, I suggest you check out what a txuleta or chuleta is, in Spain, mostly in the north, we love this thing, which is basically a t bone steak.
  • @musehim
This jamon comes straight from my province in Spain, from Jabugo (Huelva) :) So glad you enjoyed it. Those croquetas looks amazaings!
  • As spaniard I feel proud of you showing our gastronomy and culture of slicing ham, Great job guys!

So happy to see people from other countries enjoying the amazing jamón ibérico that we have here in spain, I was surprised on how they treated it with the proper and traditional tools to cut it perfectly. The recipe of the croquetas was also very accurate to the ones we have here. Very nice video. Viva España. You guys should really come here and try more typical food.
  • As spanish congratulations. That jamón leg is amazing, and you did a pretty good job openning and slacing it (is not easy). Also your croquetas look crazy, they look like spanish grandma's ones. Good job and thank you for this video
  • @AclinGG

  • @Slimmy21

As a spanish lover im so proud of you guys. Now the world knows how we deal with the best porks in the world. Probably the best non cooked meat ever. You made a very creamy croquetas. Big respect. Note: the 5j jam is as expensive as tasty, but you can find very nice and cheaper alternatives.
