From the January 27, 1971 episode, taped at Nashville's legendary Grand Ol' Opry.

    Oh I just can not find proper words to describe how much I admire Johnny Cash and his style. He was much much more than just a entertainer on stage. He was a human on stage telling his story. It breaks my heart to think that we will never hear him again in this life.

    I wasnt around yet!!! This was a few years before i came along!! Love all they gave us ..i dont ever tire of the Carters and Johnny..they were all very real and worked hard to make us all HaPPY and still are!!

    I still remember June and Johnny Cash's concert at our county fairgrounds as a kid. She was so much fun to watch, even though she was sick with the flu, she came out to make us laugh. Great couple to see! Glad I had that opportunity.
