From the January 27, 1971 episode, taped at Nashville's legendary Grand Ol' Opry.

    Oh I just can not find proper words to describe how much I admire Johnny Cash and his style. He was much much more than just a entertainer on stage. He was a human on stage telling his story. It breaks my heart to think that we will never hear him again in this life.

    I still remember June and Johnny Cash's concert at our county fairgrounds as a kid. She was so much fun to watch, even though she was sick with the flu, she came out to make us laugh. Great couple to see! Glad I had that opportunity.
