The Archon Quest: Bedtime Story has finally given us an almost complete picture of what historical event is described in The Pale Princess and the Six Pygmies.

However, it doesn't take a that much effort to realize that the Six Pygmies are Dainsleif and the Five Sinners... Hence why in this video I am less interested in that, and far more interested in uncovering the identity of the one whom the Pygmies swore an oath to, and betrayed.

Also, a lot of Egypt in this one.

Keep in mind that I will discuss potentially major spoilers regarding the characters of Dainsleif, Vedrfolnir, Rhinedottir, and the Khaenri'ah chapter in general.

Thanks for watching 😊

Bro got tired from teaching Chemistry, History, and Geology, now he is teaching a freaking new language đŸ€Ł

In hindsight, considering how little information you had to work with back then, it's incredibly impressive how close you came to uncovering Dain's connection to the Prince of Light. Sure, Dain wasn’t the Prince himself, but he turned out to be the only Pygmy who remained by the Prince’s side till the end, and his power very likely stems from the Prince. As far as I know, you were the only one back then who even suggested a link between Dainsleif and the Prince of Light, and you were remarkably close.

So prince of light cursed the pigmies to be unable to ever again see the light of day... "...Terrifying rumors are spreading. Those who went aboveground and returned say that they have personally witnessed those who fled to the surface being afflicted with a strange disease and turning into monsters..." Hmmmmm surely its not same thing
  • It's kinda funny that the pale princess book 'only' took 4 years to finally have a concrete link to the game after being called important by the game. Bro mihoyoverse really 1st disguised the visionary as 1 big bad Sinner, then name dropped surtologi and the visionary while linking them to gold in the archon quest so it's not that confusing, and then linked all of them together and expanded with 2 more and linked all of it to the pale princess. Theorizing is fun and hard when books can appear important but suddenly be very important with new info.
  • Dude, what you said at the end about the Cecilia and Inteyvat flowers is way too important for it to just be a “cool fact”. That should have 100% been part of the main video.

Btw, this also gives sense to the line "save her", as many thinks Dain refers to Lumine, but from all what we have seen she definitely is not the one who need to be saved and Dain does not act like he is trying to do that, more to stop her, not to save her, also it's quite strange to tell a brother that prove that are worthy to save your sister..., but if this theory is right, then he was talking about saving Astaroth, who loved those flowers. So he says to Traveller, that prove that you are the one who will save Astaroth and revive Prince....

thank you for continuing to dechiper the high tier lore for me because my small brain can't comprehend it without someone to explain it all to me

I think it’s relevant that the Khaenriah chapter name glitches. We’ve seen glitches in a few trailers (most notably Albedo’s) and select instances in the game since the start, but it really came to the forefront with Arlechino and now a few scenes in the bedtime stories chapter. If I had to guess, the glitch means rewrites occurring. Another example is the glitch effect in Rhukkhadevata’s golden image we see in one of Sumeru’s archon quests, again hinting at a connection to reality and Irminsul. This is just to say that I think that’s how we’ll get to experience Khaenriah: through a glitch, a rewrite of sorts. The fact that it takes place after Shnezhnaya, which should bring the story of the gnosis to a close, might mean that one leads to the other in some way.
  • @Sinnum
Your reading of the pygmies was so good!
  • @lnsflare1
If the Pale Princess and the Six Pygmies was an allegory, that suggests that it might be telling a story of events that were (or will be) erased from Irminsul (or the Loom of Fate), which could also be why the Khaenri'ah chapter has no number.
  • @Gavous-123
..."Red" is the foundational principle, the philosopher's stone, while "yellow" represents gold and mortal temptation. Yellow is simply bait. Red is the final goal. However, Khaenri'ah would likely seek the truth for gold's sake before turning the truth into a bread production pipeline.....
  • @noxmoonstone
your videos aged better than theories of other lore enthusiasts. can't wait for the video on IL Capitano!
  • @RukkhaRukkha
When you started talking about the Magnum Opus, it made me wonder, could the "Prince of Light" actually be an 'Object' rather than a real person?
  • Oh it's kind of cool if we go to take the philosopher's stones from the Sinners bc it sorta parallels the Tsaritsa collecting the Gnoses from the Archons
  • @geboaebo
I do feel like there's no way they left the entire book in the files unless we were meant to read it. That might just be rationalization tho
  • @lathamtk
I 100% believe Kahenriah will be "Chapter 0", and we'll either go back in time or relive Khaenriah through our Sibling's memories.
