I like her. I'm glad she finally admitted she was jealous. It's a totally normal human emotion. Also, she was going through a lot.
  • Her feelings are 10000% valid, as an Ariana fan it was totally not fair for Ariana to get better treatment
  • Why are people judging her for comparing her career to Ariana's, like even retail employees compare. It's human.
  • It's not jealousy when your co-star is getting favorable treatment and what amounts to favoritism. It wasn't jealousy, Jeanette. It was injustice to you and I hope you get that.
  • I applaud her for speaking up about her painful experiences. She has been through so much, and it a beautiful thing that she survived all that horrible stuff to tell the tale about what happened. So many people are suffering in silence, and you just never know. Whenever someone opens up and discuss what they have endured, I tend not to take it lightly. No matter who it is.
  • She's amazing. I was at her one woman show in LA titled "I'm Glad My Mom Died", the same as her book, in 2020 before the pandemic and she covered a lot of what she talked about here. The way she found humor and satire out of her situations in life I think is what makes her a brilliant artist. That despite all that shes been through she could make something entertaining and useful out of it.

I hope she doesn’t get any hate from telling her truth. If she was hating then she was hating, oh well. She has a combination of reasons to get the the point that she would be bothered by working with something like that. She’s real af.

It is so rare to find real honesty in a person, she is a very strong woman. We should be more like her. I wish her all the happiness that her heart desires:)

Amazing how Jennette is really honest about how she felt about Ariana Grande at the time and not scared to voice ber opinion. Obviously she isn't mad at Ariana Grande now since she hopes that Ariana will read her book. I can't blame Jennette for being jealous, if Ariana Grande missed work most of the time and Jennette was just stuck acting, who would blame her for getting jealous of Ari's success? Also, at some points, it isn't jealousy since Ariana Grande was just treated more better than Jennette because Ariana had a whole music career and Jennette hated acting. But she was stuck on the set and couldn't do much about it.
  • Preferential treatment. It’s great when it’s on your side and is the worst to experience when you’re on the other side . Totally relateable

in my honest opinion one of the strongest things she’s done is simply admit her jealousy. that is so rare. not many people can do that especially so publicly
  • I would love to see her on my screen again as an actress. Directing and writing…wow can’t wait to see what she will create.

OMG I LOVE THIS WOMAN!!! Even though her life was tough, she was able to express her feelings. I don't think I have ever seen any other celebrity do that sort of thing. I'm so proud of her! 💗💗👍👍😘😘😘✨✨👏👏👏 I never read the 📖 but now I really want to

I feel so bad for her. She was such a joy to watch and to know what she went through is very heartbreaking. With everything going on in her life she will always be our Sam.

Good for her for speaking out! But I have to admit her jealousy was reasonable, two young actors, working on the same show and yet one is favoured than the other. It’s human nature to feel this way especially when one is getting special treatment!
  • There’s a reason her book is sold out. It’s seriously so good. I read it as soon as I got it. If you haven’t read it, do it! Jennette is one of the most honest people in Hollywood.

I think it was misdirected anger (at the time). It wasn’t Ariana’s fault that she wasn’t allowed to take off but Ari was. She was really mad at the producers/situation but seeing what Ariana had and what she didn’t made her feel like she was “jealous”
  • Shes so classy ,poised ,and outspoken. I'm so happy she is able to tell her truth ,and advocate for herself. Even as the interviewer pushed her, she responded with grace ,and wisdom🤍
