What is Your Favorite Kinks Song?

Even though I was never personally a big fan of the Kinks, there are at least two songs from them that I’d consider as favorites, and they are “You Really Got Me” and “Lola”.

    There actually as a bit of trivia on those two songs that I listed out in the description as to why I consider them as favorites: • In the case of “You Really Got Me”, the first time I heard that song was actually from a cover of it by the Chipmunks featuring Honor Society in Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel . I didn’t find out about the original version of it until 2015 when I was watching Minions . • With “Lola”, it was because of “Weird Al” Yankovic’s parody of the song called “Yoda”. Oh, and speaking of trivia, one thing I didn’t know until earlier today is that the Kinks themselves were actually an English band that started back in 1964. I guess the British Invasion wasn’t always about the Beatles.
