Budget 2024: Anand Ranganthan, Shehzad Poonawalla & Panelists Evaluate First Budget Of Modi 3.0

I am from middle class and a BJP supporter, I am very disappointed with the current budget!! Nothing for the middle class, the inflation goes up, salary stays same and taxes remain same!! The effectively leaves us with lesser purchasing power!! A person earning Rs. 10 Lakhs a year should have zero tax!! Period!! The slabs should be adjusted to inflation every year as other developed countries do!! For a change, I totally agree with Tasheen Poonawalla!! What's the need for free food to 80+ crore people? What's the need for freebies? Who pays for it? We, the middle class do!! What do we get in return? Failed services every where!! High inflation and no reservation anywhere, just because we keep quite and don't come on road we are taken for granted!! The Finance minister should be sacked immediately!!

Please don't invite tehseen or Sanjay jha. Both are absolute waste.

Useless budget.... Tax and more tax on middle class who invest their small savings....

Send Tehseen out..such people spoils the show..Let him take Sanjay with him..

30% tax should not apply to middle class, it should be max 20% for above 15 lakhs

Navikaji, hat's off to Hon. Shehzad Poonawalaji by thrashing Tehseen Poonawala points raised. That's why please call Hon. Shehzadji along with Tehseen Poonawala ( he is blind folded to biased towards INC ( Indira ) and it's first family as perhaps because he is relative to them ). Hon. Shehzadji and Hon. N Singh ( ex Chairperson of 15th planning commission)explained excellently the budget provisions.

Mr. Akhilesh, Andra and Bhihar also the part of india. If these states develop that means indias develop. Never Andhra didn't get any allocations in any budget yet, accept it. So don't cry.

Tax free limit should be 20 lakhs.Mahngai bahut hai.

All public,opposition party must be in watch .....if govt give any tax excemption to any big corporate company but taking tax to even middle class who earn 3 lakh yearly are taking tax......this is too much. No tax excemption to big corporate or like Ambany should spare by india public to govt.

The opposition,as always, had decided what to say before the budget was announced. They parrot the same lines. This was expected.

Budget for 2 States. Never expected from BJP.

Tax should be 25% for income between 15 to 20/25 Lacs considering costs of living. It's no great income...still in mid level bracket. And then 30%.

Sorry Modi Ji, this time I am not going to support this budget. Enough is enough, Middle class people are being robbed of their hard earned money in the name of tax and they would get 0 INR back. The inflation is not been taken into account and eating up upto 50% of what we earn in form on direct and indirect taxes is no less than blood sucking out of our bodies. We have to struggle for everthing. Nothing happens without any loans and we have to pay interest for that. We can never come up in life despite the hardwork and this is mentally draining the tax payer. If continued, either people refuse to earn more or leave the country and eventually more people is going to fall under lesser tax slab and this inturn affects the tax collection of the govt. Please give some respite to middle class. Please understand the lifestyle and costs in the Tier1 and Tier2 cities. People who are not able to have homes because they are not able to save enough for the downpayment.

Only practical solution for long term investors : - Stay invested & do not redeem till 2029 -Vote out BJP from power in 2029 & vote for only that party which mentions in its manifesto that Long Term Capital Gains tax would be completely exempted Post Script : Though there were many loopholes in the Congress administration between 2004-2014, the stock & mutual fund investors should not forget that LTCG were totally exempt from any tax between 2004-2018 (14 years) It was only in 2018, Arun Jaitley, before his death, reintroduced LTCG & now Nirmala Sitharaman in 2024 has increased the taxation I recommend Z++++++++++++++++++++++ security for Nirmala Sitharaman with immediate effect Jai Hind!
